The CourtyardTHE BASEMENT: A Live Escape Room Experience - SylmarEscape roomIRLThis may be an unpopular opinion based on the people who I’ve chatted with about this room, but this is my favorite room at The Basement! The Courtyard may be one of the most immersive escape rooms I’ve played thus far. The set was so well done and the perfect amount of eerie, it was very suspenseful, and the puzzles were the perfect difficulty for my group. I would recommend coming with 4 players or so because my party of 2 found ourselves running back and forth a lot 😅 Finally, my favorite part of the room would have to be our actor! They were incredible and elevated the room to the next level. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dose of creepiness. The Courtyard lives rent free in my brain.
The StudyTHE BASEMENT: A Live Escape Room Experience - SylmarEscape roomIRLI love how the actor plays a role in the plot of the room and puzzle solving. The way I interacted with the actor is something I’ve never experienced before in an escape room. Unfortunately, towards the end of the room, a puzzle was not triggering despite my party completing the puzzle exactly as instructed after multiple unhelpful hints. Bummer that it caused us to not escape, but the room was fun nonetheless.

The Curse Of The Black KnightEscapeX Rooms - IrvineEscape roomIRLSuper fun and immersive Gen 1 room. I love the theme and the tiny space available was beautifully taken advantage of. I wouldn’t recommend this room for more than 4 players, it gets quite tight.

I think more could be done with the space they have. Staff has always been awesome at Exodus! Overall, I would recommend to anyone interested in Greek mythology!

The set is very visually stimulating, immersive, and there is lots of engaging and fun puzzles. Staff has always been wonderful at Infinity!
