LostDream LabsEscape roomIRLAh—oops, what an intriguing way to kick off the game! This was our third game, and I have to say it was absolutely beautifully done. The story was fantastic and, while it did need a bit of explanation afterwards, everything then fell perfectly into place. The 120 minutes flew by in no time at all. Just like with the other games, the quality of the props, sound, and lighting was outstanding and really added to the overall experience.

I did imagine it to be a bit larger, but the puzzles are really well designed and the atmosphere is fantastic. The ending is especially spectacular and adds a real sense of urgency. The actors fit their roles perfectly and contribute a lot to the overall mood. There aren’t any traditional jump scares, but there is one part that definitely calls for someone brave – not for the faint-hearted, but brilliantly done!

From the outside, it looks like an old shoe cupboard – but instead of shoes, it now offers cinema-worthy immersive rooms. The entry into the dream world, the dreaming itself, and the gentle waking-up again were a flawless experience. At some points in the dream we got stuck, but Lasse, our gamemaster, always managed to keep us within the storyline of Metropolis. The follow-up afterwards, where our remaining questions and uncertainties were addressed, was very well done. We’ll be happy to return.

We managed to get through the game quite well and had a really good time. It’s not super innovative, but it’s very nicely designed and built with high quality.

The difficulty level was quite low at times. The acting performances were mixed: some actors were very convincing, while others felt rather unprofessional or out of place. Our accompanying actor in the second part of the game didn’t fit the overall experience at all, in my view. The city itself is beautifully designed and feels very realistic – that aspect impressed us. However, this particular story doesn’t necessarily need to be played.
