We loved the wide range of puzzles all with the common through-line of the story. We did this room on the last night of our vacation and wished we had found it earlier, because we really wished we had time to tackle the other rooms here!
Bear TrapClueless Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was so good! Easily one of our favorites! The set is well designed and detailed to go along with the theme, with some super fun effects. The story flowed well. The puzzles were varied in type and difficulty, with some being straight-forward and some pretty involved. We rehashed the game for quite a while afterwards and each had a different puzzle/detail. The GM! Our GM was a lovely person. Her care and enthusiasm really enhanced our experience.
The Mysterious Office of Dr. TobinMystery Escapes Escape roomIRLOur group of 3 had so much fun in this room! We loved the creativity and theming. The room had a good premise and introduction that drew us into the storyline and the story was filled out as we discovered clues along the way. The gameplay flowed well, with a variety of puzzles and challenges. As for the scariness factor: I was startled in this room, but not in an extreme way and I was still able to take part in all areas of the room. (FYI, I am a jumpy person that does not do well with scary stuff, so consider my opinion with that in mind.)

Who Stole Mona?Escapology - Town SquareEscape roomIRLWe picked this room for the lasers (which other reviews for this room talk about). We arrived on time and "escaped" with over 15 minutes to go, but did not get lasers. We were told the mirrors, which were obviously there for the lasers were "left over from another room". Not only were we not given the experience we reserved, we were misled by staff. Aside from that, the room was not terribly challenging or novel.
Pirate's CurseEscape Room ZoneEscape roomIRLThe theming was strong, but the lights were VERY dim and the soundtrack was so loud that it was difficult to hear each other speak. We asked for the soundtrack volume to be turned down, but the GM said it could not be done. We ended up having to yell to each other. Some mechanicals were VERY finnicky, with the correct answer only counting as correct with exact placement and some jiggling. One trunk popped open but the lid did not move and there was no sound to indicate it, so we did not know to check it again. The GM could not monitor our progress, and so for hints we had to walk them through our progress via walkie-talkie (difficult with the loud soundtrack). In all, we found this to be a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience.

As the reviews say, this game is atypical, but in a fun way. Lots of puzzles, silly challenges, and great GM interactions.
