Magic KingdomMaze Rooms - VermontEscape roomIRLMaze Rooms are always reliable. We tried "Magic Kingdom" and while the name reminded me of a famous mouse 🐭, it was more about fantasy. Using wands and powers was awesome! The puzzles were creative, but they could use some TLC. A few puzzles were tricky, not because they were hard, but because they didn’t work perfectly unless we were more forceful—kind of frustrating. The atmosphere was really nice! With a bit more decoration, this room could easily be one of the best. Mig, our GM, was great! We had a group of 3 and finished it with no problems. 👍
The Return Of The MagicianUNLOCKED: Escape RoomEscape roomIRLClassic escape room with some fun surprises and an interesting way to start! We did this with 4 people and I could see 6 people having a good time in there. The puzzles were interesting and made you think. We made some silly mistakes because we are silly 🪿s but we still made it out with 2 minutes to spare and 0 hints 😂. The staff here were very friendly! We spent quite a bit of time talking about escape rooms in general and just hanging out. They are so passionate about escape rooms and I love that!
Starship | Interstellar EscapeWild Goose Escapes - FullertonEscape roomIRL🌌🔭🦔 Astro-nerd here! This room finally delivered an escape room IN SPACE that we all desperately needed. Most rooms fail to capture the essence of being on a ship in space but this room was like Smugglers Run at Disneyland if Disney took the time to build an interactive ride. The set design was top notch. When I walked in I was blown away by how I immediately felt like I was on a space ship. This had a great blend of tech and mechanical tasks. I haven’t yet experienced an escape room quite like this and we loved it. GO DO IT NOW. I do wish it had some cute little Easter eggs like maybe an homage to Star Wars or Alien but the room is already perfect.

Shiver me timbers, the puzzles were like no other – crafty, challengin', and every one fit for a true buccaneer. 🗺️💀 Startin' off by bein' split up and thrown in the brig? Aye, that set the course for a grand adventure! And the endin', by Davy Jones' locker, it took me straight back to the high seas of DisneyQuest's pirate VR game. Steerin' the ship? 'Twas nothin' short o' spectacular! ☠️🚢 Ye best be tryin' this one, scallywags. Seriously, don't ye dare miss it! 🦜🌊
Elevate: SkyloungeWild Goose Escapes - IrvineEscape roomIRL"Elevate: Skylounge" was a blast of an escape room! They nailed the atmosphere, making it feel like we were actually heading to a high-rise bar in an elevator. The props and decor added so much to the experience. The puzzles were a mix of fun and challenging, keeping us engaged the whole time. A standout moment was how they personalized the experience for our friend's birthday, displaying a special welcome message at the 'bar'. It was a really thoughtful touch that made the day even more special. I'd definitely recommend this room for a fun and immersive escape room adventure.
The AtticEscapeX Rooms - IrvineEscape roomIRL"The Attic" escape room was a fantastic Halloween adventure, filled with spooky vibes and challenging puzzles. The atmosphere was spot-on for the season, creating just the right level of creepiness. I was pleasantly surprised by some new types of puzzles that I hadn't seen before. The game masters at this location were awesome - they were really helpful and made sure we had some good scares throughout. The room was spacious, easily accommodating a group of six, and the non-linear layout meant we could all tackle different puzzles at the same time. It was a great experience for a group looking for both fun and frights!"
Zoe: Reborn Krampus [prev. Krampus' Lair] - CLOSEDEscapade GamesEscape roomIRL"Krampus" was a really fun escape room with plenty of scary moments. The puzzles themselves weren't too hard, but the challenge was in dodging Krampus and his elf to get clues and unlock things. The experience was super interactive - we were constantly having to evade Krampus and be creative in hiding. The whole vibe of the place was great, with a creepy Christmas soundtrack that added to the atmosphere. We decided not to go for the tasing option, which in hindsight might have made it even more exciting, as it would have upped the ante for not moving fast enough or just goofing around. Overall, a really cool and different escape room experience!

The actress playing the witch was incredible, moving around the room so skillfully that we never saw her coming. The puzzles were not only fun but also had a cool witchy theme, and they were challenging enough to keep us engaged. The storyline was memorable, blending the right amount of terror and intrigue. Our group of four had a blast, constantly alternating between screams and laughter as we worked together to outwit the witch. It was a perfect mix of fear and fun."
The Curse Of The Black KnightEscapeX Rooms - IrvineEscape roomIRLTotally dug this knight-themed escape room. Felt like we time-traveled to the Middle Ages. It's a linear room, so we could all really soak in the set and story. Puzzles weren't super hard, but super fun to solve. Heads up, you'll be crawling, ducking, and taking stairs, so communication is key. 🛡️🗝️ Bonus: the waiting area is a chill spot to chat with the GMs. And don't miss the spooky bathrooms! 👻🚽 Highly recommend. ✌️🏰

The set design gives off a cool Vegas vibe. We laughed a lot and got stumped on some puzzles. Overthought a few things for sure; you don't need to be a scientist to figure this one out. The story's straightforward but fun. Highly recommend checking it out. 👍🎲🔒

The theming? Dude, it was next level – seriously, one of the sickest sets I've ever seen in an escape room. 🏫🔥 The puzzles were a wicked mix of high-tech brain busters and cool mechanical stuff. 🧠🔩 And the storyline? We just made it through by the skin of our teeth. The puzzles? Challenging, but really well-crafted. We had to ask for a nudge in the right direction a couple of times, but that's all part of the fun. If you're into brain-teasers and love a good pirate theme, I totally recommend giving this one a go. It's a thinker's delight! 🏴☠️🧠💡

It could have been faster, but we had our dyslexic friend in charge of entering a number, which added to the excitement. The pitch darkness, with only a flashlight to guide us, was a clever twist that ramped up the challenge. The puzzles were tricky, but once we put our heads together, the solutions clicked into place. It's really a shame to see this place close down. They clearly had a lot of passion for escape rooms, and it showed in their work.

The Hex RoomCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRL"The Hex Room" stands out as one of the best escape rooms we've experienced. The unique aspect of being assigned different characters and having theme-specific rooms for each was incredibly cool. The setup where everyone had to solve their individual puzzles to break their hex added a fantastic layer of teamwork and personal challenge. It's definitely a game that requires collaboration to escape. I'd recommend tackling this room with no more than 7 people. Playing as 2 detectives was especially fun and added to the excitement. If you're looking for a well-thought-out, immersive escape room, "The Hex Room" is a must-try!

The experience was a blast, especially the part where we entered the Upside Down. It was incredibly immersive and really captured the essence of the show. We did hit a snag on one of the puzzles, so it wasn't a walk in the park for us. But for any fan of "Stranger Things," this escape room is a must-do. It's an awesome way to dive into the world of the show! 🚲👾🔦

Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations, maybe because I'm really into aliens. The puzzles were on-theme, but they lacked that extra spark of excitement I was hoping for. I wanted more interaction or involvement with the alien aspect. While the puzzles were challenging, they weren't particularly enjoyable. We didn't regret doing the room, but it definitely wasn't a favorite. Also, the set itself felt a bit underwhelming and janky.
