Escape Rooms for Kids in Charlotte

“Unreal! Next level game. Beautiful set design and production - I mean, I’m just blown away by the entire experience. It’s a truly special room! The puzzles were fun (not difficult - which was great as I brought a newbie) and our GM Seth was hilarious. We laughed so much! I took a friend who had never played an escape room before and I fear it’s all downhill from here for him. 🤣”

“We did this with our kids and it was so much fun. They could keep up and solve the puzzles with us. (Ages 6 and 9). 5 people was a good amount. I think if room was full with 12 people it would be too many.”

“The submarine was amazing, felt like a Disney ride! Atlantis was gorgeous and ethereal. More physically challenging than Temple of Light. Would recommend playing this room first to better appreciate it's beauty before experiencing the over the top extra-ness of Temple.”

“What a fun little room. I keep calling it the wrong name as I keep calling it Cereal Killer (dad's gotta pun) Do this room. Go and play Ghastly, play this one to shake off the spooky from that room then play Wrecked The flow and fun in a small space was truly a work of art for a fairly small footprint Great room, theme and flow”

“The four of us really enjoyed this room. We still liked Temple of Light the best here but this was a close 2nd. Great theme. Fun puzzles/activities. Not as many puzzles/activities as some rooms but it was enough to keep all four of us busy for 45 mins. But, I would not want more than 4 people in this room. There was an in-room actor but she didnt really add much or participate much like the actors in the other rooms. Even still, Keepers continues to create awesome rooms and IMO this is a must do.”

“This was such an awesome room Did not expect the twists and turns of the story but everything flowed beautifully and one of the best uses of a live actor for a room we’ve experienced If you are anti-actor this room will change your mind Wonderful room with a variety of puzzles and challenges - both mental and physical. Very appropriate for the whole family and just fun to play Tidbits: Easy parking Delightful staff Plenty of food and drink options near by Lots of rooms to play Big comfy lobby”

“We did 2 rooms here. This and the titanic, I’d recommend this one over the other. The puzzles made more sense, they still required time and thought so the challenge was good but the flow was good in this game. I dont usually feel that way about time consuming puzzles but this game was good and immersive.”

“This is my second time doing a virtual experience through the escape game. Really great approach to how they do their rooms for teambuilding exercises. This room had a lot of novel approaches to puzzles and really clever design.”

“The introduction, decor, music, and themed puzzles created an engaging Wild West experience that was fun from beat to beat. I just wish I had been provided some cowboy gear to match the theme 🤠. We did every escape room here except Missing and Metro Mayhem and this was second only to Wrecked!”

“Hometown Escapes never disappoints! Great room, the theme is great and I love how they mix mechanical and traditional puzzles with electronic/high tech. This room is newer and I highly recommend. David, the GM was fantastic!”

“The Masterpiece team are masters at creating FUN. This set is obviously old ans not up to the standard of most of their rooms, but the puzzles and vibe in this room were top-notch. High recommend. This is my second favorite here after Wrecked!”

“We traveled to Lexington, KY to play this room when it came out and loved it, so we were excited to see that our local (Pineville/Charlotte) Breakout Games had it. Had as much fun as we did in Lexington. Definitely recommend this one. Second best room Breakout Games has with Clue being the first.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed this room. This is the best room escape tactic has to offer. The overall theme is incredible. I love the non linear aspect and the commitment to the Amazon theme. Super enjoyable. This is one of the better rooms in the area.”

“Really well executed theme! Rock walls, faded heiroglyphs. Lots of non-lock based challenges that involved a really interesting use of space. It’s a large room, and there’s a lot to work on so this would be a good pick for a larger group.”
