This room gets a love because we were brave enough to attempt it with our 2 & 6 year old and it was actually fun!! That told me what I needed to know about the flow. Our kids needed something to do CONSTANTLY, so there was very little time of just standing around- it felt like there was always some way to stay busy. It had unique puzzles, and mechanisms we hadn’t seen before (map puzzle for those who have already done this room). The staff was also amazing and let us “escape” despite being a few minutes over to help our 6 year old get the satisfaction of finishing it. We’ve been impressed by this chain and definitely think it stands out when compared with other chains. I would definitely say this room is kid friendly and a great starter room. The set was well done in rooms 1& 3, I found room 2 slightly lacking, but it made sense with the story/theme! And the transitions/ending sequence were super fun for us, but also the kids. Our 6 year old is now hooked (like us) as this was her first room. Great experience all around.

Great room by the escape game! The set and special effects were surprisingly good, especially in the first room. The story was fun too and had a solid plot twist which we enjoyed and didn’t see coming! Definitely recommend.

Genuinely one of the best escape rooms I’ve done, really unique puzzles and a good challenge. We did it with just 2 people and this was the last escape room we had left to do at this location. The game masters were all so incredibly kind, they had really good hints that didn’t completely give away the room while still actually helping. Overall a really good experience and a phenomenal escape room.

This is a great room, hidden gem! The set is fantastically done, there is a good mix of a few traditional locks and then some electronic puzzles. It’s clear the owners take pride in an immersive experience. Note this is not a scary room, so it’s fun for all ages! Minimum is 4 players. There are some challenging puzzles and is definitely a cerebral game in the beginning. Would recommend and will be trying their other room!

I loved this room. The overall gameplay flowed very well. The puzzles were difficult yet fun, we only had two people in our group and were able to break the monthly record. Overall I would highly recommend

Wow. Just wow. This room is a MUST for adventurers of all kinds. There are way too many positives to review here. From the unique and INSANELY DETAILED scenes (smells, sights and atmospheres) to the thematic-focused puzzles, this room has it all. The high-quality mechanical components, animations and props incorporate a true sense of exploration and immersion within all the puzzles offered here. There have been few rooms that have offered an adventure of this scale and truly delivered on that feeling, but this one did it in every way possible and more. I will be chasing the feelings of adventure and immersion that this room gave me for the rest of my escape room journey. Another huge bonus of the storytelling and immersion were the GM interactions. Our GM Sara (without the H!!) was truly a masterclass in their story involvement and role, making the experience feel as though it started right at the lobby. Huge shoutouts to the hospitality of Sara and the owners here too! If you are even considering this experience, all I can say is GO! Even if this room only offered a sightseeing tour of their setting, it would be beyond worth it.

The submarine was amazing, felt like a Disney ride! Atlantis was gorgeous and ethereal. More physically challenging than Temple of Light. Would recommend playing this room first to better appreciate it's beauty before experiencing the over the top extra-ness of Temple.

How Do Escape Rooms Work?

Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
