“The theming and execution of this room is on point. My partner and I had a blast running all over this one. While it is a bit large for two players we were able to get the job done with time to spare! This is a dexterity heavy room which led to lots of fun moments. I really enjoyed the variety of puzzle types in this experience. Worth the price of admission!”

“Amazing experience! The GM, Amber, modified our time based on us getting there early and was excellent. The room is fantastic with a lot of fun and unique puzzles. A good mix of thinking and physical challenges. Can't wait to try their other rooms.”

“Very cute! I LOVE Clue and so the theming and references were very cute. The room was well designed and electronics worked as they should. For me and my boyfriend (first escape room for him) it took us about 40 mins with two hints. The puzzles were reasonable, on the easier side, except for some that took some leaps of logic or needed you to keep moving back to other rooms to check new things that might have shown up. Would be an excellent room for families or newer folks.”

“A very fun and well done room with a nice variety of puzzles! This one, too, has a nice polished feel to its set pieces and the flow made sense. There is more non-linearity involved (compared to Timeliner) with a mix of tech and mechanical puzzles that are relevant to what they achieve (more tech based puzzles). It's a decently challenging room, well suited for experienced players who are able to put "2 and 2" together efficiently. I loved the information given in the room - nothing is extraneous or too abstract. There is no unnecessary signaling or red herrings. Like some of their other games (like Timeliner and Playground), you can see a visible checklist of your overall progress and a list of mission objectives you need to accomplish. I will mention one thing - don't celebrate too early if you think you have escaped - make sure you are attentive!”

“Very fun pirate themed room. The live actor provided a fun element and was very helpful without being intrusive. The puzzles fit the theme very well and were challenging without being too hard. The live actor gave us great nudges when needed to help escape. The ending was fun as well. Looking forward to the other rooms at TSC.”

“We loved this room! We did Wong’s Chinese yesterday with friends, and this one today with just us. Joey is a great game master and we were fortunate to have him for both rooms. This room is a bit of a challenge for two people, mainly because of all the things you have to do, but still so much fun with just the two of us. I would recommend 3 or 4 people for it. There’s a nice surprise in the room as well.”

Red Door Escape Room

“Another solid room (of the two we've played) at Red Door Escape Room Southlake. The entire game met the established objectives laid out at the beginning, and everything puzzle innovatively supported those objectives. The space was good sized with a large number of fun puzzles. We played with two "experienced" players (just under 100 game rooms played together) and rated it medium. Inexperienced players would want to add teammates due to the non-linear way the room is laid out, and the diversity of puzzles. There were a lot of hidden items in this room (with minimal red herrings) so observation is the key. A very fun and entertaining room overall. We look forward to playing more Red Door Escape Rooms as we travel to locations that have them (their website lists quite a number of cities).”

“We loved this room! There were 3 of us and we loved the design of the rooms. The game flowed pretty nicely. We needed a little nudge at the beginning but after that we did pretty well. The last room design was a surprise!”

“A fun, fairy-tale themed room. The gameplay was linear, and most of the puzzles were straightforward. The room is put together very well to match the Once Upon a Time theme. The game master was enthusiastic and helpful, introducing herself as our third player. With almost 100 rooms complete, this room was on the easier side but we got ourselves into a couple of death spirals that required a little nudge, and the game master did just that. It seems like it would be a good novice room. The fairy-tale theme is pervasive throughout the room making it an immersive experience.”

“We have played over 100 rooms and this is one of our all-time favorites. It is very innovative, very high-tech, and has a number of fun puzzles. It was rated as 7.5/10 but seemed a little easier, making it a great room for a larger group of beginners (although it is also very linear). Playing at Escapology was top-notch. It is no surprise that this room was a multi-year TERPECA (Top Escape Rooms Project Enthusiasts' Choice Award) nominee. We highly recommend this game as our favorite of the three we played at this location (Lost City / Narco).”
