“We had fun in the room. There are lots of different lasercut puzzles which make the room different. The "time machine" animation gets a bit long. We found the statue puzzle hard to understand, but still enjoyed the room.”

“Fantastic room. Really loved this room. Puzzles were excellent and everything just worked and flowed as intended. For a team of two there was lots to do but as long as you were both on the same wavelength, it’s doable. Set is great and there are plenty of things for groups to do. We especially loved the variety of puzzles and mechanics of the room. Hosts were friendly and didn’t waste any time getting us in and immersed. Highly recommend Paradox as an independent company. Their rooms are great and suit all abilities.”

“A great room. Really loved the variety of puzzles and how they were linked to each part of the room. There was so much to do and would welcome a group of 3-4 more than a 2 but we still really enjoyed it and it was challenging that it kept us on our toes. Lots of fun to be had in this room.”

“Played as a family and with friends - x3 adults (about 25 rooms done) and x2 teens (only done a couple of rooms). Escaped in good time and with no clues needed. Good room for younger people to lead/try or those newer to escape rooms. Still really fun for all though and some enjoyable teamwork moments. Good mix of puzzles and a fun story. Friendly GM and would very happily go back to play more games.”

“Played this with my Mum for Mother's Day and it was superb. She absolutely loved it and I think it's one of the best I have played yet. Some superbly clever touches, great tech and puzzles and a real mix of things to do. Only needed one hint for something we had overlooked and Rowen our GM was fantastic. “Lovely room which was less puzzle-heavy and more about an initial search and then following a (very fun) linear path of how the hour plays out. While you needn't be some extrovert actor who loves playing a part, you certainly will get out as much as you put in - if you go in having fun and playing along, the game gives the GM plenty of room to have fun while also pushing you along the path or in the right direction of what you're missing. For example, I'm pretty sure one of the interactions was entirely optional but played a brilliant part of showing us we'd been especially incompetent at basic searching 🤣🤦‍♂️ made a fun moment out of us completely failing. If you get Ini, you'll be in safe hands and have a great time. Evie's verdict: It was scary to start with but then I saw that the guard was just funny. I liked the silly sound effects and the hiding.”

“Top tip: bring a big team! A beautiful puzzle fest of a room in which so many things can be done at once! It’s surprising to see a game with so many puzzles that all feel so individual and unique! The end goal of the room is clear and your progress through this multi-linear room is easily tracked making the experience all the better!”

From the amazing acting of the staff, to the feel of the room, the puzzles, and the creep factor this place was utterly perfect and extremely immersive. “Everything about this room was amazing. There was a clear attention to detail and a want to make the story accurate and create the best possible room. You follow the traditional story line throughout and there were subtle nudges to the story which helped you solve puzzles. The set design was some of the most attentive I’ve ever seen. The puzzles were fun but still had different elements to them. I would say out of 5 games which I played during my day this was my most favourite. I highly suggest everyone to go and play this room.”

“A great linear escape room where puzzles came with little instructions and required the players to figure out what to do. This escape room is inside an old air raid shelter which adds to the atmosphere of this game. We escaped with 2 people but there was one puzzle that was difficult to do without a 3rd person”

“Love all three games at AIM Escape, but the Spy Heroes might be my favourite. If you’ve ever wanted to feel like a real spy in training then I would definitely recommend this game! The puzzles could be a little tricky at times but the GM was on hand to answer our questions via walkie-talkie, she was very friendly and helpful. The set design of the game was also incredible, high tech and very clean.”
