Five days ago beloved Broadway star and lead actress in the upcoming production of Ghostface; The Musical, Elena Brown, was murdered. Surveillance footage from right outside the theater shows someone dressed as Ghostface committing the atrocious crime. Police have determined that a ‘Special Forces’ crew will be needed to assist Detective Van Der Beek in cracking this case. That’s where you come in! The detective is out right now investigating another potential victim. Unfortunately, more individuals associated with the Broadway production have gone missing in the last few days. Detective Van Der Beek wants to try to resolve this as soon as possible as bodies seem to be turning up every 60 minutes. The detective needs you and your team to gain access to the police department, narrow down the suspects and identify the killer before anyone else gets hurt!

“This had a really well built set that even incorporated the artic elements with how cold they set the room haha. There was one puzzle that was basically a reskin of another puzzle they used in a game at one of their other locations so that was a bit disappointing. Our group did find a couple of the puzzles to be overly tedious, and at one point, the game master (thankfully) told us we can just take a picture of one of the cipher because it was taking way too long to go back and forth. Overall, I still really enjoyed the room because I loved the set design and theming, but tweaking a couple of the puzzle choices would really elevate the experience.”

Collect the weapons I left behind and figure out how to break into Dracula's Castle before the ritual to awaken him has been completed. The Vampire clan will return at midnight to begin the awakening process. You must slay Dracula with a wooden stake before he rises once again and seizes the city.

“I feel like a good amount of venues have a vampire room, but they commonly fail to make the experience engaging. That was not the case here. There was a good mix of tactile elements and tech incorporated in the room. There were some really cool set pieces here, and they executed well on maintaining an eerie atmosphere. Puzzles were engaging and made sense with the theme. I feel like every good game should have a climax or thematic ending, and thankfully this room did not disappoint there. Easily my favourite game of the 5 rooms I've played from Escape Zone Long Island.”

Your criminal ways have finally caught up with you. You've been arrested and are awaiting trial when you overhear the sheriff talking about a recent wagon heist. The Soapy Smith Gang robbed a shipment coming back from the gold rush, and they've hidden their loot in the local saloon. Use your criminal wits to bust out of jail and grab the loot before the gang rides back into town in 60 min to claim it back.

Dear old Nana Hannah lives in her mountain cabin. Strangely, you haven’t heard from her and decide to pay her a visit. You see streaks of blood on the floor but no sign of Nana. Can you help her? Can you even help yourself?

As you know, we’ve been stranded on this island for the past few weeks. Thankfully we stumbled upon that old hangar building with a small plane in need of repair. The radio put out a warning that a major storm is blowing in within the next hour so we don’t have much time. I will need all of you to collect the supplies listed on my clipboard to get the plane up and running and ensure a successful flight. This is our best chance of getting back home safely. Gather the supplies and get on the plane in the next 60 minutes before the storm hits! I’ll be waiting in the cockpit for takeoff! Hurry! I won’t be able to wait longer than 60 minutes!

“Escape Zone Long Island managed to provide a scary game, but the room's potential definitely felt hamstrung by how small it was. We played the version with a live actor, and honestly, the live actor didn't contribute as much to the experience as you'd think (though this wasn't at any fault of the actor). There was a set piece I thought could've been utilised more given how nice it was. There was also one aspect that had an audio element to it, but it was extremely difficult to hear given the environment. Finally, I really don't like it when rooms incorporate multiple locks to open just one thing, and this room was extremely guilty of that. Granted, I have never read the book or watched the movies, but I thought there could've been more references to Pennywise. Despite all these complaints, I still had a very good time in this room. The atmosphere was sufficiently chilling for an IT room, and the puzzles all tied back into a murderous theme.”
