“I didn’t really know much about this room before playing it…tbh I thought it was all going to take place on an airplane. Turns out, the airplane is just the beginning of the adventure. Volcano Views proved to be a surprising experience, with many unique elements that I haven’t seen in escape rooms elsewhere. It’s family-friendly, but is also engaging enough to entertain our group of three grown adults. The set design doesn’t have the polish of some other top-level GTA rooms (the last 1/4 of the experience def requires some suspension of disbelief), but it more than makes up for it in pure fun and physicality. Even as experienced players, we were surprised multiple times over the course of our journey. Difficulty was generally pretty easy, so I’d recommend a group size of 2-3 experienced enthusiasts. Our GM did a great job and brought an authentic joy to the experience. We had a slight technical hiccup at one point, and she addressed it very promptly. I don’t remember her name, but she was maybe Asian or mixed, tall, with glasses. This woman deserves a raise!”

“Botanical Greenhouse was a very artsy unique room. More art than room, but didn’t let up on the puzzles either! We loved the unique art pieces and couldn’t help but admire all the love and attention in here. You can fell the love poured into this experience. Colorful plants and flowers, fun sidekicks, and clever puzzles with lighting and sound make Botanical Greenhouse a great game. I enjoyed our visit to Daydream and hope to return in the future.”

“Rating: 4/5 - Small but whimsical with a beautiful vibe and fun characters and quests Pros: ➕I really enjoy the quest-based gameplay, the lighting and descriptions made it clear what you needed to do next. ➕Set is beautiful and magical with lots of little details. It's colorful with great use of LEDs and effects. ➕Puzzles were fun and satisfying ➕More than a single room game ➕Good use of audio and voice work ➕Mostly tech with some padlocks, lots of tactile interactions ➕Storyline is interesting with fun/cute characters ➕Some parts are a bit dark, but they give you lanterns ➕The lobby and bathroom have a cool vibe too ➕The GM/owner was friendly and nice to chat with Minor nitpicks: ➖Set is kind of small, I was hoping it kept going but it stopped sooner than expencted. ➖It's a bit short and easy for experienced enthusiasts. We played as a team of 2 enthusiasts (paid for 3 tickets) with a lot of time left (at least 20 min) and no hints. I'd recommend 2 players. No crawling or climbing needed. My ranking of the Daydream rooms (all locations) starting with my favorite: 1. Botanica Greenhouse (Brimley) 2. Dream Portal (Danforth)”

“Loved this little gem of a room, largely because of its charming X-Files theme that took me down nostalgia lane. Cheeky atmosphere, fun puzzles, and a family-friendly level of difficulty. We struggled on the very first puzzle for 10 minutes but somehow finished in 27 minutes, so I would recommend experienced players taking their time to enjoy the immersion!”

“Enjoyed the interactive component with a live actor that I knew wouldn't be trying to scare me! We had a great time and thought they did a great job integrating the theme throughout the game. I think ideal group size would be 6 because of there's too many, it gets a little crowded in some spots.”

“Fantastic room at a fantastic company. Room is totally suitable for all ages, families, dates/duos, etc and beginner friendly. Very fun wizarding components to make the room feel alive. Quite challenging bonus puzzle(s) if you finish early. Definitely a crowd pleaser kind of room.”

“Gorgeous Scooby Doo-style room with a beautiful palette, well-made props, and a fun mix of puzzles. A very spacious room with multiple areas and great use of sound and lighting to deliver the story. Though it has a "ghost" theme, it's not scary and is family-friendly. Some of the puzzles did take a beat to trigger, which caused a bit of confusion at times as we weren't sure if we had solved them correctly, but other than that this was a delight to play.”

“Favourite part of this room was how many times I was legitimately surprised by what the room was doing when we solved a puzzle or what we were expected to do for a puzzle. I really enjoyed the puzzle difficulty of this room, definitely harder than pretty much any Omventure I’ve done, yet everything felt very fair (ie the difficulty didnt come from a puzzle with lots of leaps of logic). There are multiple puzzles where reading the right text or symbols is very difficult in this lower light level space or shadows being cast over text. So keep that in mind if you sometimes bring glasses or a young member of your team to rooms =P. Otherwise a fantastic experience!”

“Very enjoyable game! Good integration of the puzzles with the narrative. Most of the puzzles follow fairly familiar patterns for escape room fans, but there was one with an inventive mechanism I’ve never encountered before. Recommended!”

“The room was a lot of fun. It really fit the theme of a zodiac cafe and there were plenty of unique puzzles. Some were very easy and others including the final puzzle were, I wouldn’t say hard but slightly challenging. Overall it was a great beginner room and a great first room for me and my group at escaptopia. ALSO THE DOG IN THE LOBBY MAKES ME WANT COME BACK! HE WAS SUCH A GOOD BOY”

“The theming and decor is what was my favourite, so this gets a heart just out of pure nostalgia. They’ve nailed the colour scheme and decor. Lots of cute Easter Eggs too for Simpsons fans. The puzzles were fun once we kind of understood the rhythm of the room/what we were supposed to do. Some confusion near the beginning but otherwise flowed well! Space is on the small side so probably don’t go with more than 4 people”
