The GM called it a non-linear room, but really there’s like 3 things you can do in any order before you move to the next part. Lots of puzzles were not working, and the GM was distracted so even after solving something correctly it was several minutes before we would ask for a hint only to find out the puzzle didn’t trigger. This room should probably be retired or reworked to fix everything that is broken.

We really wanted to play with no hints, but alas we missed a couple of very strategic gameplay parts hunting for other things (we only asked for 2 hints). It was such a fun experience, well-designed set and theme, great GM, and another win at this locally-owned escape company!

Our GM for this game gave just the right number of nudges to keep us moving along. The set design is beautiful and the tech is amazing. Such a fun experience for our whole team!

Nikola Tesla - The Last ExperimentMystic Escape Room - DenverEscape roomIRLLots of fun! Immersive and non-linear - with lots of different puzzles for people to be solving at different times. Our group has a blast! Side note - I had emailed ahead of time to play 2 rooms back-to-back and to confirm the times I picked would work out. Once we arrived we were told we only had 40 minutes for one room and an hour for the second. So overall I loved the game, but felt rushed because our request wasn’t communicated to the GM.

I wish we had more days in Osaka to try their other rooms… but now we have a reason to come back!!! Incredible game, fun story, great video and audio effects, and just a phenomenal team of escape room lovers who came together to build something special and unique!!!

My only note is one puzzle is color-based, and the lighting near it make things difficult to discern. Amazing story and play through.

We worked our way through the puzzles anyway to understand the logic of the gameplay. Super fun! Our room hostess was AWESOME!
The Book Of SoulsMystic Escape Room - LittletonEscape roomIRLWe really loved this room, but our GM was not really involved with our progress. When we got stuck on 1 puzzle, we weren’t offered a nudge and after about 10 minutes of a time-sink we asked for a hint and were just told the answer to the puzzle rather than pointing us in the direction to solve it. After the game we were in the lobby gathering our phones, loading our time into Morty, and trying to make sure we were good to make the 2-hour drive home when we were told it was time for us to leave because other players were coming in. While we enjoyed the game, the theme, and our first GM (since we played 2 rooms back-to-back) - the final thoughts we were left with were“get out”. Very odd.

So many fun reveals built into the game that made us say “whoa” and really made it a great ride! I forgot to buy shirts on our way out so will need to take a trip back to Texas sometime since there’s not an online store.

There’s a great mix of traditional locks with tech together. We saw a group of kids come out and I can see where this would be amazing for a birthday party! Magical!

Vampire HunterEscapeWorks Denver - Convention CenterEscape roomIRLWe had so much fun in this game, and don’t normally like getting paired with people we don’t know… but the couple we got to play with were great! Good synergy solving problems, fun side-bar conversations, and at the end our game master made a cool comment. Dakota said they thought we all had unusually good chemistry for all the games they have hosted - and suggested we think about getting a drink or coffee nearby. Well we took that recommendation, turns out we all have a lot in common, and we have new gaming friends!
