Phantom Files: The Investigation Of Lockturne ManorThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLCutesy spooky room! Puzzles and storyline were unique and interesting. Our GM was wonderful, having worked with us for all 3 rooms we were truly able to vibe by this final one. The movement through the rooms was unique and captivating.
Click 'N Glitch Arcade PalaceThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLOne of my favorite rooms ever! The arcade was a very unique concept, and I love how Ventures rooms incorporate live actors! The puzzles were unique and flowed really well.
Nightfall: Creature At Camp DeadwoodThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLThe flow between segments of the room was extremely unique and the live actor was integrated well. Just spooky enough to cause mild panic, but not deadly terrifying.
Galactic Beef: The Cosmic Adventures of Star CowDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLFun little space adventure with intriguing puzzles. Be mindful (not a spoiler as they say it when the game begins): this is an extremely linear, story driven experience with cutscenes between puzzles.
The StorykeeperLocurioEscape roomIRLThis is in my top few escape rooms ever done. Though the location wasn’t the easiest to find, the room layout was exceptional, and storyline was incredibly clear. Live actors enhanced the storytelling and kept full immersion throughout the rooms. Though the story carried well, each room had a unique theme for varied gameplay. I cannot recommend this room enough for escape room enthusiasts!! 11/10, wish I was in town longer to their other room.
Captain Spoopy Bones and the Magnificent Quest For Some Other Pirate's Treasure!Doldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAhoy Mateys! This experience was a unique twist on a pirate adventure! Split start, so I’d recommend 4 players, but you could do it with 2. Plenty of puzzles to divide and conquer. The ending/final room was a unique experience I’ve never seen before in a room. 10/10 recommend.
Crazy Train: The Ballad of Skeemin' PlotzDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe experience was quite unique, with novel puzzles and never-seen theming (at least, never that I’ve seen). The experience is entirely linear, and plays audio storytelling in between most puzzles, which slowed down mechanism triggers thus slowing down the game. If you’re going for an “experience” over a “high score” and are in love with comic strips/toons, this is a great room for you!
Dragon Challenge: A Hero's Choice [prev. The Quest]The Escape Ventures - Winter Garden [prev. Escape Goat]Escape roomIRLAn excellent room for Fantasy genre enthusiasts! The room played out well in a nonlinear fashion, which can be great for larger groups. Personally, doing the room with 2 players was perfect; we split up, but didn’t have to. I loved the highly detailed theming and overall gameplay. The story made sense and followed a logical progression.
Area 51The Escape Ventures - Winter Garden [prev. Escape Goat]Escape roomIRLFun theming, but felt small. The ending was abrupt and could have used another puzzle or two. The puzzles that were present were entertaining and well done. I loved the Easter eggs to alien movies/media!
Haunted HouseEscapology - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThe puzzles were a unique twist on a typical haunted escape room. My favorites (without spoilers) were: the 3D printed model (I’m a sucker for anything 3D printed), and the final puzzle.
A Knight to EscapeThe Escape EffectEscape roomIRLThis is one of the best games I’ve ever played! (Current Morty Score 63). The integration of mechanical puzzles and well concealed sensor/high tech puzzles never broke the immersion of a Medieval experience. The 2-hour time limit really let us get into the experience, and the high level of communication between the separated teams was so much fun! Definitely do this with at least 2 strong communicators, one for each side, as most of the game is played in separate rooms with teams of two.
Cinema 7Will To Escape - OrlandoEscape roomIRLCinema 7 is one of the BEST themed and immersive rooms I have EVER done!! (57 games played at time of review) unique puzzles, immersive theming, multiple rooms, and lots of surprises.
Jewel Heist [prev. Jewel Thief] - COMING SOONEvasive Escape Rooms - Kissimmee [prev. Edge Escape]Escape roomIRLWell themed for a heist room. Some very good technical puzzles throughout. Love the toilet paper (iykyk)! Interesting show set design within available space.
Hidden Temple [prev. The Society of Adventures and Explorers] - COMING SOONEvasive Escape Rooms - Kissimmee [prev. Edge Escape]Escape roomIRLAdventure themes are some of my favorite rooms. The puzzles made it feel like a true exploration, with fewer locks-and-codes-and-keys and more logic puzzles. The bridge is the best (iykyk).
Wizard's Curse [prev. Save the Magic School] - COMING SOONEvasive Escape Rooms - Kissimmee [prev. Edge Escape]Escape roomIRLGameplay was great, with a prefect mix of mechanical and technical puzzles. Storyline was loose, but theming was immersive.
Star Trek Discovery: Damage Control [prev. Star Trek: Quantum Filament]Escapology - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThis felt exactly like stepping into the Star Trek universe!! The theming was completely immersive, and the story flowed very well.
Who Stole Mona?Escapology - OrlandoEscape roomIRLTwo key puzzles had unclear answers, to the point where we would never have figured out one without the GM providing a pre-designed diagram of how to find the solution. However, the special effects were VERY good and I loved the physically-active portion.
Bubba’s Basement BargainsThink Escape Games - Orlando [prev. Escape Hatch Orlando]Escape roomIRLGameplay flowed logically. Theming was cool and had nicely integrated puzzles!
Puppet Heist: The Hand Of LifeThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLI love how the game didn’t involve keys and codes, but rather an immersive, story-driven experience that felt as though you were truly in the world of puppets.
