BlackoutThe Final DoorEscape roomIRLEdit: We had the misfortune of having a GM who did not follow protocol and stopped us just before we escaped instead of allowing us to complete the last puzzle ourself and also gave us the wrong instructions for a puzzle which cost us time. However the room itself was very nice and after speaking to the owner, we were given a discount booking. This room should be very rewarding for anyone who is allowed to complete the whole room.

The IslandHometown EscapesEscape roomIRLFun room but a bit disappointed that there were several problems considering it was brand new. One of the puzzles was so finicky that the GM came in to do it for us, and even she had to try it twice before it triggered. Seems like they could have tweaked that a bit before going live. Another puzzle simply gave the wrong code, even though we followed the instructions exactly, so the GM had to just give us the code. Also a latch released prematurely and the GM had to come in to tell us not to use it yet. These problems really detracted from the experience, but on a good day with everything working, this room would be highly recommended.

Without spoiling anything, just gotta say that the first puzzle which is done with your team split up doesn’t even qualify as a puzzle, just trial and error, and it’s clear that the propmaster didn’t consider how dials work or what they are intended for. Would have loved to have seen a better atmospheric build for the room, but most of the puzzles were quite fun.
