Quest For The Temple of LightThe Keepers of BalanceEscape roomIRLThis is the first in the storyline for Keepers of Balance and can be played first or second with Sunken Realm. A great room for all ages.
Vanishing ActBlack Mountain EscapeEscape roomIRLThere is a lot more to this room than it appears when you first enter. We did need a few nudges in the right direction because it is mostly linear, but overall it was very engaging.
Heresy: 1897Doors of DivergenceEscape roomIRLThis room puts you in a Lovecraftian storyline with alchemists playing with life and death. Your life outside your waiting room in limbo melts away within minutes after solving the first puzzle: how to get inside. My family of 4 works really well as a team but this room would be very difficult for a couple to attack alone. Non-linear thinking is a must, as is good pattern recognition. We averted disaster at a very steep price. Hopefully you choose well.
Madness: 1917Doors of DivergenceEscape roomIRLThe game starts from the moment you walk in. Because we played the rooms in order, 1897 first, we were booked for a private experience, but we also brought a friend who was not in the first room and she was completely engrossed and didn’t miss a beat. There are two game hosts and they did an excellent job pulling us into the moment and offering help when requested. Everything is themed and all the puzzles are tied in. Things you don’t even recognize as clues are necessary and indispensable later through the game but fully on display at all times. There are also a ton of red herrings and set dressing that really drive the creepy factor.

IllusionTimed OutEscape roomIRLThis was a very fun diversion on a week night with friends and family. This room was easy enough that our young nieces could participate in solving the puzzles. It was fairly non-linear as well, so we had multiple teams working on puzzles at the same time.

Wild WestBreakout Games - CharlotteEscape roomIRLWe were separated right away some blindfold and some locked away. We had to collaborate in puzzles solving. The room is linear and has several very fun and well-hidden surprises.
