Mogollon Monster: Scouting for Arizona's BigfootThe Nemesis ClubEscape roomIRLSuccessfully escaped with 4. This is overall a great room. The set design is unmatched, with amazing immersive use of tech. However, our room had technical difficulties so we missed the entire cool intro and the staff didn't try to fix it and give us that experience. We then had to step out so they could fix the rest of the room. The puzzles were thematic but the flow wasn't great. There were quite a few that I felt were quite a stretch and non-intuitive. But, to their credit, the room offers many unique moments that I haven't seen in other rooms before, that really add to the fun and entertainment of it. Definitely would recommend it still!
The BirdMyssTic RoomsEscape roomIRLSuccessfully escaped with 5. 5 was fine but maybe 3 or 4 people would've been slightly better as the puzzles were fairly linear. It's more detail oriented and finicky in a good way than ghost light. It's also a relatively smaller room, but it had some incredible reveals that awed me. Set design is incredible and I also enjoyed the puzzles here more than ghost light because they were a bit more complex (but still definitely doable!). I liked this room more than ghost light!

Theme and story was really well done and makes you feel part of the narrative, which imparts a sentimental/melancholic atmosphere that I have not experienced in an escape room. Puzzles were straight forward and stayed true to the theme. This is also a bigger room with fantastic set design. Highly recommend the trek out to Brooklyn!
The AttractionPalace GamesEscape roomIRLEscaped with about 8 people. I was really excited for this one because there's a lot of hype around it, and I think it fell short of that. The transformative aspect of the room was GREAT and the tech/props were fantastic, but I felt like it was a bit gimmicky and got repetitive.
Dog DaysPrototype Escape GamesEscape roomIRLEscaped with 4. The dog theme is super unique and immersive (the physical room as well), which made it very fun. The puzzles were very thematic and everything felt relevant but also special. Many times the puzzles did double-duty by adding to the story. Pretty straight forward but there are a fair amount of puzzles, maybe on the easier side but still felt entertaining. Apparently this is a staff favorite and I can see why!

Cannibals In The CatacombsPrototype Escape GamesEscape roomIRLI've heard this is the best room in Jacksonville and I believe it! Successfully escaped with 4 (definitely need at least 3). Puzzles were very thematic and flowed well. Nothing was too much of a stretch. Room operated very smoothly. Don't be too scared by the disclaimers and warnings, it was scary but not overly stressful. The difficulty is also on the easier (still fun but more straightforward) side I think. You just might be shocked by the experience ✨
UndercookedOmescape - SunnyvaleEscape roomIRLManaged 25/26 recipes with 6 people. Definitely need to divide and conquer with this room, so you will miss out on many of the puzzles. I loved the fact that there so many puzzles to solve though! But it is hard to coordinate which parts are for what puzzle and which ones are already solved. I agree with BTRoku's review! I liked Robotopia a lot more but this was still a great time!

The space is transformative, the puzzles are super unique and well done, and there are so many amazing reveals!! 4 people is probably the best size for this room as the puzzles are pretty much linear. PlaygroundThe Escape Game - NYC MidtownEscape roomIRLSuccessfully escaped with 12 (whatever the max limit was) people, but with a lot of help towards the end. This was my first time to be grouped with random people in such a large group. We went with a group of 4 and it ended being the room limit with disparate groups of 2-4. Nevertheless, I was amazed by how everyone still had something to do. I think you actually need a pretty big group for this room, because there are so many non-linear puzzles that all need to be solved. It was a pleasant surprise! All the puzzles are on theme and many felt unique. One of my favourite rooms of the franchise!

The HeistThe Escape Game - ChicagoEscape roomIRLSuccessfully done with 2. One of the weakest rooms of the franchise in my opinion. Felt bland and not that exciting. Ending was lackluster. But compared to average rooms not in the franchise, still fun to do and recommended!
Cartman's Escape Room - CLOSEDEscape The Room - ManhattanEscape roomIRLSuccessfully escaped with 4. Really fun room even as someone who doesn't watch South Park. Puzzles were well-themed. Some really fun reveals and unexpected puzzles! This and Clocktower are my favourites at this location.
The Clock TowerEscape The Room - ManhattanEscape roomIRLSuccessfully escaped with 2 but with some guessing in the last puzzle. My favourite room in this location! Very cool steampunky theme and impressive mechanical set pieces. One of the puzzle reveals was wow-worthy and felt like magic! There's a lot to do in this room with a lot of variety. Definitely recommend!
Nuclear AnnihilationEscape Room MadnessEscape roomIRLSuccessfully escaped with way too many people (approx 12). Many non-linear puzzles, good if you want to go for the divide and conquer approach. Really didn't like how most puzzles were just figuring out a combo to enter in a lock, especially since there were soooo many locks that all had the same number of letters/digits combo that so much time was spent just figuring out which lock was the right one for a combo.
