The Weeping WitchCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLCrossroads has some of the best rooms in OC so I was super excited to be able to book their newest room with my escape room fam! It’s been booked up weeks in advanced since it opened and it did not disappoint. I’ve done the Hex Room a couple of times and the Weeping Witch took the spot for my new favorite escape room at Crossroads! If you’re thinking about booking this room, do it!! You won’t regret it!
The Hex RoomCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLI’ve done this room twice with two different groups and it’s such a fun experience overall. I love how you get to take on the role of someone in an old school horror movie. You’re separated from your group and it’s a bit dark but not too scary! I would do this room again!!
13th BasementExit Game OC - AnaheimEscape roomIRLThe 13th basement has been on my wishlist for a while so I was excited to finally be able to do it! First off, the owners are super friendly and welcoming! Overall, this room was awesome! Such a fun take and so unique. The puzzles were refreshing and the owners put a lot of thought into crafting this room based off of their experiences with escape rooms so everything felt well thought out and intentional! This is a room in OC that you don’t want to miss out on! I also love how the owner’s even thought about making the room accessible to individuals with different accessibility needs. Hoping to see more of this in the escape room community :)
The Curse Of The Black KnightEscapeX Rooms - IrvineEscape roomIRLOne of my favorite rooms so far! Such an immersive experience. Very fun and adventurous, loved all the props and puzzles! Great game for adventure lovers, I would recommend this room!!
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - IrvineEscape roomIRLThis game was so much fun! Some of the puzzles were honestly a little challenging at first for our group LOL. I felt like I was on the show “are you smarter than a 5th grader.” The vibes are so nostalgic and really brings you back to being a kid in school! Would recommend this room!
Prison BreakThe Escape Game - IrvineEscape roomIRLThis room was a lot of fun! I did it with my family and we shared so many laughs! There’s enough challenging puzzles where everyone in the group can all split up to work on something. We worked together and had a lot of fun going head to head for the first part of the room!
S.A.S.H.A: Home Of The FutureWild Goose Escapes - FullertonEscape roomIRLIf you’re thinking about what room to do with friends and you’re deciding between a couple in the area, do this one!! Did it with a group of 3 and got out with no hints! Loved the set design and the tech! Such an immersive room with a lot of fun puzzles. 10/10 would do again!
Gold RushThe Escape Game - IrvineEscape roomIRLI’ve done a couple of the rooms at the Escape Game and honestly this one is a lot of fun! I loved the ambiance, it was super immersive! The puzzles were fun too. We had a pretty big group so we were a bit crammed but this room would be perfect for a group of 4-6 people!
Special Ops: Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game - IrvineEscape roomIRLThis was one of the most immersive rooms I’ve done! I really enjoyed the props and design. I felt like I had travelled to a different location! I would recommend this to anyone in the OC area!
