Sweethearts Ice Cream ParlourThe Cool SpaceEscape roomIRLWent and did this room with a team of four. Loved the interior design of the space and the commitment to the theme. Still mostly a padlock heavy room, but the puzzles to solve the combinations were fun and on theme. There were also some unexpected surprises. We very much enjoyed it.
La RébellionThe Cipher Room St PetersEscape roomIRLDid this with a team of 4. I loveeeed this escape room. Can't recommend it enough. I thought it was really creative and novel in many aspects. The atmosphere was great, the puzzles really fun and had some cool theatrics. The level of difficulty suited our group well and at multiple points we were showing each other puzzles we had completed so no one missed out on any part of the experience.
Area 1: The PortalProject Immersive Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWere impressed the moment we arrived. Loved how the game masters were in character the moment we arrived. Even the waiting room was super impressive with a super cool collection of gadgets and science equipment. The location and space definitely added to the experience and the quality of the room, aesthetics and puzzles were all super high quality. Experienced many unique and novels things which were very exciting.
Area 1: Nuclear EnrichmentProject Immersive Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLOnce again super immersive, top notch aesthetics. Amazing props, design and attention to aesthetics. I'm generally not a fan of the sci-fi genre, but the scale of these rooms is undeniable.
CurioEscape Rooms CanberraEscape roomIRLI enjoyed the magic theme which was consistent throughout the escape room. It had some cool interactive puzzles and some unique mechanisms, which were fun. The difficulty was fine for us and we solved it quite smoothly.
The HotelRiddle Room CanberraEscape roomIRLWe did this room as a group of four, it was our first of three escape rooms that we did on the day. Really liked the interior design of the escape room and that it was more spacious. Had lots of things to look at so at no point did it feel like I was bored even when others were solving a puzzle. The atmosphere was great and contributed well to the theme of the room. There was only one puzzle I really disliked and mainly because it was a bit time consuming and the fact that I'm not a huge fan of having to read a bunch of text to solve puzzles (but that's just me). Other than that it was fun and loved that there were no padlock and key based locks in this one.
End of the RoadNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLDid this room with a group of four. We really enjoyed this one as it was immersive and had a good amount of interaction with the game master, but not too excessive. The room had some fun and creative puzzles and flowed well.
TorquayElude Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLDid this room together as a team of four. We completed this room after Perpetual motion so our brains got to warm up a bit. Loved the design of the room and how it was decorated. Had lots of puzzles to solve, some very creative that we hadn't seen before. Liked how all the puzzles matched well with the theme too. At no point did any of us feel bored or that we didn't have something to do. Everything flowed really well. We didn't finish within the time but luckily we were given a couple minutes extra and were able to escape in that bonus time. The escape rooms at elude definitely humbled us and gave us a good challenge.
The Flaming PearlEclipse EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was a fun escape room with the theme of chinese zodiac. My team and I were all chinese so it was fun to see our culture represented in an escape room. Loved all the chinese art, antiques and props. The collection of puzzles was also unique and all very creative and on theme. Another great room at eclipse. There were some minor technical issues due to a damage a previous team had done but nothing that significantly impacted our experience and we did get warning about one of the issues in advance.
Steampunk: Alchemist RevengeQuest RoomEscape roomIRLWe did this room with a party of four and escaped with less than a minute to spare. The aesthetics of the room were really well designed to a high standard and fit the theme of the room well. We enjoyed the puzzles, which were all mechanism based and interactive which we really enjoyed.
