This is the room everyone is talking about and for good reason! It’s fun, unique and charming with great characters, great set design, and A+ customer service—a golden recipe for a standout room. Out of 400+ rooms I’ve never done one quite like this before. There are two different sides to the room, detective and medical examiner. I’m glad I switched to the latter; the medical examiner route is VERY challenging and uses a lot of deduction. Everything comes together nicely in an impressive finale. I can’t wait for their second room!

The first half of this room was great but the second half lacked flow. We spent most of the time in the second half trying to figure out where to start and what to do. There’s a lack of sign posting which is a common thread among the rooms at this location. After doing them all, I have to say I’m a bit let down by the rooms here because they all have great bones, amazing set design, and very fresh and creative ideas. Now if they could just work with whoever designs the puzzles at the Santa Monica location they’d have a premier escape business on their hands!

This is more of an immersive theater style walk through with lots of actors, a couple of simple puzzles thrown in and one interactive/video game style challenge. The set design was fantastic & the acting was great as well. The story didn’t seem to really go anywhere though and came to an abrupt end—most of us were standing around wondering if something else was going to happen and unsure if the experience was over or not. The ending seemed more interested in ushering everyone into (yet another) lounge to buy drinks instead of being a satisfying wrap up to the story. Don’t get me wrong I did try two of the craft mocktails/cocktails and they were delicious. I should note that the attraction only opened a couple of days prior to us attending, so they might tweak some things. But in its current form, this is designed more for fans of the franchise than it is for escape enthusiasts or fans of immersives.

I really appreciate the creator’s attempt to do something different. This experience bills itself as a “wander play” — I’d describe it as a mix of a narrative driven scavenger hunt with a dash of escape elements. And I dig that idea. But I didn’t find myself enamored with the story line or by the characters, which is a crucial element to this kind of experience. I think we spent more time driving than in the experience. The storyline also reminded me a bit of the nest. Regardless, I hope to see the creators refine this idea and I would definitely give their future endeavors a shot. If you go, I recommend wearing comfortable shoes and consider bringing a flashlight.

This room seems to be a bit divisive ratings wise. That’s probably because game play is a mix of puzzles tasks; personally I strongly prefer the former but a lot of people will appreciate the latter. Our group needed quite a bit of direction because many times we weren’t sure where to go next (this seems to be a regional thing though). But ultimately this was a fun & enjoyable experience, especially for fans of the movie! The set design quality is insanely high & the wow moments really standout. I recommend adding this to your Barcelona itinerary!

I really enjoyed this experience as a haunt. As an escape room, there was one particularly frustrated puzzle and the room could be greatly improved if it were removed or revamped. But overall it was such a fun experience that I can overlook that. It was also properly creepy, abs one of the more “full contact” rooms we experienced in Greece. There were some really beautifully acted scenes and fantastic work from the scare actors. And there was one particular solo experience / jump scare that was unforgettable! If you enjoy horror, booking this room is a no brainer.

If you can only do 1 or 2 rooms in the Netherlands make sure this is one of them — this room is NOT to be missed. I’ve done 200+ escape rooms and this is the closest I’ve ever felt to being in a movie. The theatrical presentation in this room is insane and the actors are so ridiculously good; they must have been professionally trained Shakespearean actors or something. Such a memorable experience, even your friends who aren’t into escape rooms will love this!

I loved this room so much more than I expected to, it was an absolutely blast. This is what an escape room should be — great flow, logical puzzles, but overall FUN. The set design is top notch and it has just enough of those “wow” moments. It’s not super hard but challenging enough, and it’s not super scary either — think Haunted Mansion level I’d scary. Don’t write this one off even if you generally skip horror rooms. My only regret was not being able to book more of their rooms!
