The Mad RapperScenario Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was not my favorite escape room theme, but I will say it was definitely challenging for the two of us and incorporated somewhat unique puzzles. There was one puzzle near the end that was somewhat confusing because there were two separate clues for the same puzzle, which really tripped us up. It was also difficult to read in the room because it was a bit dark. The storyline also was a bit lackluster and did not connect well. However, the room was a nice challenge and made us think.
Ink & AshesExodus Escape RoomEscape roomIRLI enjoyed the theme of this escape room as well as the variety of puzzles offered. It was definitely on the more difficult side for my party & I. I loved certain aspects of the game because I felt they used certain props in a unique way that I haven’t seen in other escape rooms before. Had a blast with my friends!
Wicked WonderlandEscape Room 66 - Laguna HillsEscape roomIRLThis room was a fun one, but it was honestly just more of an enjoyable experience versus being rated as one of my favorite escape rooms ever. The puzzles were extremely easy for us in the beginning and then the room got much more difficult as we progressed. The puzzles itself were not that difficult; it was more about the quantity of puzzles we had to solve within 60 minutes. Nevertheless, a fun escape room to try out!
The Tipsy TailorIntrepid Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis escape room completely blew my mind! I love Intrepid Escape Rooms and I personally think this is my favorite room. The complexity of the puzzles was on the easier side, but there were so many puzzles which made it more of a difficult room. The last room was my absolute favorite! Highly recommend, one of my favorite rooms to date.

This room definitely had more intricate and complex puzzles than I expected, but I loved the difference between physically looking for clues and solving mental puzzles. It was enjoyable for our group of 5 and I would definitely try another escape room from this company again.

I will say I didn’t enjoy the loud audio noises at times (supposed to be jumpscares), but otherwise, super fun & challenging puzzles! Highly recommend this room.

Cool rooms too.

The rating says “hard”, but my boyfriend and I felt that this room was one of the easier ones we’ve done. The puzzles are very straightforward and easy to solve, but yet still make you think for a bit.

However, we had a blast and I loved the complexity and variety of the puzzles. Highly recommend!

The interior design is extremely detail oriented and well done - it’s no wonder this is a popular escape room for many. The puzzles were just the right amount of challenging and some were fairly unique to this location. Highly recommend!

If you’re not scared easily, it’s an amazing room with quality puzzles. If you’re scared easily, definitely avoid this room because I wasn’t able to enjoy it fully because I was scared the entire time 😭
Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game - OrangeEscape roomIRLTimeliner was one of the more enjoyable rooms I’ve played from The Escape Game - it’s definitely a very interesting/unique theme and I do recommend checking this room out! I really liked the aesthetics of one specific room (it was super pretty lol). Puzzles were slightly challenging, but not impossible. Definitely check this room out!

The puzzles were definitely challenging and slightly different/unique than your typical escape room. I absolutely loved one of the group puzzles & I think you’ll know which one I’m talking about when you play this room.

If you’re an escape room enthusiast, you will NOT enjoy this room. There is no captivating or immersive intro or story like many other escape rooms, it’s hard to see throughout the entire gameplay, and the puzzles are lackluster. The majority of puzzles are lacking in creativity & fun - just imagine being in a dim light room where half the time, you can’t solve the puzzles because you can’t physically see in the room. Staff member at the front was kind and accommodating! Believe the reviews when you see them!!!

The puzzles in Chapter 2 were definitely creative, challenging, and memorable, but my boyfriend and I were able to get through this chapter faster than Chapter 1. I will say that Chapter 2 definitely ranges between spooky & scary. If you get scared easily like me, you can consider the experience slightly scary in a way, but it was more spooky if anything. Very high quality production, props, live actors, music, dialogue, and storyline! Highly recommend.
Chapter 1: Occam's ApartmentOff The Couch GamesEscape roomIRLOff The Couch is absolutely a 10/10 experience. Not only are the staff members friendly, but they are extremely professional, kind, and attentive as well. My boyfriend and I started on Chapter One today and were SO happy about our experience that we booked another session with them right away - especially because we are from out of town and can't go here as often as the locals. The difficulty of the puzzles were just the right amount of challenging - aka they were manageable, logical, and not impossible to solve. Additionally, I love how the "hints" are given in a different way - aka not a direct verbal hint, but there will be other "elements" in the game that push you towards the right direction. I also love how you can save your progress and revisit Off The Couch at any time - it truly makes this experience so much more enjoyable than a "rushed" 60 minute escape room session because you can come back to solve OTC at any time.

If you love arcades, you will definitely enjoy this escape room! I will say that the puzzles were a bit on the more simple and less complex side to my surprise, as I’m used to more puzzles where you need to think outside-of-the-box. If anything, I was more impressed with how immersive the room was versus the actual puzzle solving part, which is why I’m giving it a thumbs up instead of a heart.
Houdini60Out - Silver LakeEscape roomIRLNote: My boyfriend and I personally thought that this room was SPOOKY because of how dark it is and because of certain audio noises. As somebody who gets scared pretty easily, I got spooked somewhat often and don’t consider this a “not scary” escape room. Other than that, I absolutely LOVED this escape room! The Houdini theme was definitely on POINT with the props and puzzles in this escape room. It’s a somewhat challenging room for two people, but luckily we were able to escape with 1 hint (we’re very stubborn with accepting hints & try not to unless we absolutely need it 🤭) and 9 minutes to spare! All of the puzzles flowed pretty well and it was a lot of fun! I highly recommend trying this escape room out!

I loved the amount of physical props to grab and the uniqueness of the puzzles. Also, there were two new escape room solvers in our group and we were able to escape just in time! Perfect for those who want a more wholesome experience and not a complicated type of room.
Santa’s Naughty or Nice List - CLOSEDWild Goose Escapes - IrvineEscape roomIRLThis was our first Christmas themed escape room and it was definitely a memorable one for the books! I loved the festive holiday music playing in the background as we dug through Christmas themed props and more. All of the puzzles ranged in difficulty from easy to slightly challenging. We actually made really good traction in the beginning, but slowed down in the middle due to one confusing puzzle that we overanalyzed and stumped us 😂 Regardless, an amazing, unique, and cool room nevertheless. I definitely recommend trying this room out!
