There was one puzzle near the end that was somewhat confusing because there were two separate clues for the same puzzle, which really tripped us up. It was also difficult to read in the room because it was a bit dark. The storyline also was a bit lackluster and did not connect well. However, the room was a nice challenge and made us think.
Hijinx Hotel [Immersive Experience]Hijinx Hotel - IrvineEscape roomOther Hijinx Hotel was an extremely fun immersive experience to go to with friends! I feel like the more people you have in your party, the more fun it would be - I would recommend 4-6 max to optimize the experience! We did the 10-room experience & I would definitely come back again. The “food menu room” was my favorite lol.
Ink & AshesExodus Escape RoomEscape roomIRLI enjoyed the theme of this escape room as well as the variety of puzzles offered. It was definitely on the more difficult side for my party & I. I loved certain aspects of the game because I felt they used certain props in a unique way that I haven’t seen in other escape rooms before. Had a blast with my friends!
Wicked WonderlandEscape Room 66 - Laguna HillsEscape roomIRLThis room was a fun one, but it was honestly just more of an enjoyable experience versus being rated as one of my favorite escape rooms ever. The puzzles were extremely easy for us in the beginning and then the room got much more difficult as we progressed. The puzzles itself were not that difficult; it was more about the quantity of puzzles we had to solve within 60 minutes. Nevertheless, a fun escape room to try out!

The complexity of the puzzles was on the easier side, but there were so many puzzles which made it more of a difficult room. The last room was my absolute favorite! Highly recommend, one of my favorite rooms to date.

This room definitely had more intricate and complex puzzles than I expected, but I loved the difference between physically looking for clues and solving mental puzzles. It was enjoyable for our group of 5 and I would definitely try another escape room from this company again.
The DogHouseEscape Room 66 - Laguna HillsEscape roomIRLWe absolutely loved this room! I loved the brightness of this room (finally not a dark room!) and all of the fun dog related elements. I will say I didn’t enjoy the loud audio noises at times (supposed to be jumpscares), but otherwise, super fun & challenging puzzles! Highly recommend this room.

Cool rooms too.

The rating says “hard”, but my boyfriend and I felt that this room was one of the easier ones we’ve done. The puzzles are very straightforward and easy to solve, but yet still make you think for a bit.
The Fortune TellerNo. 1 Escapes - Sky ParkEscape roomIRLThe Fortune Teller was definitely one of the more challenging rooms for my boyfriend and I, as we didn’t escape and were only 60% done with the room. However, we had a blast and I loved the complexity and variety of the puzzles. Highly recommend!
Irvine School Of Wizardry And The Dragon WandHidden DonkeyEscape roomIRLThis room certainly impressed me and I can see why it is highly rated. The interior design is extremely detail oriented and well done - it’s no wonder this is a popular escape room for many. The puzzles were just the right amount of challenging and some were fairly unique to this location. Highly recommend!
The Secrets Of Shadow PointWild Goose Escapes - Huntington BeachEscape roomIRLThis escape room was one of the scariest ones I’ve ever done and I was not prepared for the jumpscares (something they warn you about before starting the game). If you’re not scared easily, it’s an amazing room with quality puzzles. If you’re scared easily, definitely avoid this room because I wasn’t able to enjoy it fully because I was scared the entire time 😭
Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game - OrangeEscape roomIRLTimeliner was one of the more enjoyable rooms I’ve played from The Escape Game - it’s definitely a very interesting/unique theme and I do recommend checking this room out! I really liked the aesthetics of one specific room (it was super pretty lol). Puzzles were slightly challenging, but not impossible. Definitely check this room out!

I did not enjoy a majority of the puzzles (one was extremely annoying). I do not recommend this specific game and definitely recommend ones like “Dead Man On The Orient Express”.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed this game so much that I am buying a new one. I cannot wait to collect them all! 🤣 I enjoyed the storyline and all of the puzzles - some were straightforward and some made us think a lot! Highly recommend!

I love how it’s themed as an “adults” entertainment + mini games area and there’s just a lot of good vibes when you’re there, especially from the workers. Everybody’s just there to have a good time. My favorite had to be the pendulum swing obstacle alongside that ball throwing cactus game, lol. Highly recommend for sure!

Excalibur - CLOSEDBrainy Actz - IrvineEscape roomIRLTook my friend to an escape room for the first time! For first timers, this escape room is an okay experience. If you’re an escape room enthusiast, you will NOT enjoy this room. There is no captivating or immersive intro or story like many other escape rooms, it’s hard to see throughout the entire gameplay, and the puzzles are lackluster. The majority of puzzles are lacking in creativity & fun - just imagine being in a dim light room where half the time, you can’t solve the puzzles because you can’t physically see in the room. Staff member at the front was kind and accommodating! Believe the reviews when you see them!!!
