“This was one of the best Axe Throwing Experiences we have done. We really enjoy Whoop Axe due to all the extra equipment they allow you to throw, but this place has the theming! This place has not only the theming, but they have the high tech equipment. I would highly recommend this place to multiple people”

“Such a fun, spooky attraction at the Disneyland Resort! Not necessarily “scary,” but this is a dark attraction with dim lighting, but lots to see and enjoy. This is always a classic to ride during the holidays (Halloween, Christmas time) because they will transform this attraction into The Nightmare Before Christmas theme!”

“I don’t know if I just got lucky with a really good actor when I walked through, but I got more jump scares on this maze than any of the others. The creepy guys with film reels for a head were particularly freaky and really got in my face and followed me around—it was great!”

“I loved this theme of hypnotization. Of all the mazes at Knott’s, this one is the best at telling you a complete story throughout the entire maze. The voice talks to you through the entire maze, which makes perfect sense for the hypnotization theme. There are also some really cool, freaky moments during this maze where they play with your mind. I only wish there were even more mind tricks sprinkled all throughout!”

“This is by far the best of all the scare zones this year. With the lighting and fog creating the creepy atmosphere you are hesitant to walk through, the scare actors make it full of jump scares when they surprise you.”

“This might be my favorite haunt of all time! It’s not at all cohesive, but that’s because it’s basically ten mini haunts! Every time I turned a corner, I had no idea what would come next. It never stoped surprisingly me, and my smile just got wider the further I went in. I kept thinking I was almost at the end, but the maze lasts like seven minutes! That’s crazy long for a theme park haunt!”

“17th door was spooky but not terrifying. The wait was short, we were some of the first people in, and the actors that were outside were very fun and personable. The rooms were all really well done and provided multiple different experiences but nothing that was tap out worthy at least for me. Would highly recommend going and steeping outside of your comfort zone. It was a great experience!”

“This maze introduced us to one of Sarah Marshall’s (really Sarah Morgan) sister, Mary Worth (Bloody Mary). The set design was soo good! Each year Knotts keeps setting the bar with their craft. I wish there were more mirrors since we all know what mirrors could do! The lantern fx were not working for the first two weeks.”

“I love the story line, the build Is very detailed, dark, creepy and lots of spiders, a great mixture. Lots of scare actors at every turn. It takes a good amount of time to get through. “What a great idea for a theme! Super clever and extremely well done! This is without a doubt my favorite scare zone. We ate at Prop Shop Pizzeria, which has outdoor tables basically inside the scare zone! Highly recommend grabbing on of these tables for a long and terrifying dining experience!”

“My second favorite scare zone at Knott’s in terms of theming, but definitely my favorite in performances. All clowns are so in character, they’re terrifying, they’re hilarious, and you could just spend tons of time walking back and fourth through this area, having more and more great interactions! Every scare actor at Knott’s is incredible, but the clowns are truly the best of the best. You can tell they’re having just as much fun as the people they’re scaring, and I really hope this zone stays at Knott’s for many years to come! Also, to any scary clown girls, can I have your number?”

“This was my first time checking this place out and I was impressed! This haunted corn maze is part of Frosty’s Forest and it cost $30 (30 tickets) for the maze. Don’t get this confused with the normal corn maze that’s open to everyone else. The first thing I noticed while waiting in line was their pacing. I was happy to see the gaps they were leaving between groups which makes for a better experience. I’m not sure I understand the story but that’s okay. It was exciting walking through the dark parts of the corn maze. The Scareactors were hidden really well! You should definitely add this to your Halloween to-do list!!!”

“Prepare to be spooked. The Knott’s actors are waiting around every turn and know how to pop out at just the right moment to make you jump. The set design is highly detailed and designed for terror at Knott’s Scary Farm. A few cons: the mazes are all very loud with sound effects and music that do little to add to the ambience of fear but do make you want to get out quicker. There is high amount of gore in most of the mazes. We generally prefer haunts that rely on spine-chilling creepiness rather than ritual slaughter. But to each their own. Eight Fingers Nine was, in our humble opinion, the best haunt in the park. Go see it!”

“This is the essential Dark Harbor haunt. It feels the most distinctly “Queen Mary”, especially because we’re able to see into the pool room for a second. There’s one scare on a bridge multiple stories above a maintenance area that is absolutely cruel and might be the best scare I’ve ever seen in a haunt!”

“Always a top notch yard display that is very professional. Lots of work goes into. From sights, sounds and a few scare actors. The lighting, thunder and low to ground creeping fog are eerily perfection. You have a sidewalk view as well as a path in part of the yard. The also food a helping hand out front where they take food donations to help others. It's a fantastic and not to be missed.”

“My 2nd year attending this home haunt and I still love it. It's a team effort of adults and kids as scare actors. It totally works. The kids and adults get into their creepy and scare mode. Nice build and props throughout. They take donations for 12u travel softball. It's great the kids acting in it support their team.”

“I have visited this house since they first started as a yard display. That started off with a bang. Then after a few years it turned into a mini haunted house. Very organized, fun atmosphere with free popcorn and the owners dressed up being evolved. The outside build is tall as a western motel that you go into for some scares. Even though it's a small walk through, there are quite a few scare actors in there to get you to jump. Very friendly and nice owners.”
