The case Beneath the cobblestones of Paris lies the City of Martyrs, an underground city full of dark secrets. It is in the heart of this buried city that Adèle, the governor's daughter, mysteriously disappeared. Seen a few days ago in the company of Martin Joly, better known as the taxidermist, no one has heard from her since, she has disappeared. The governor promises a reward to those who find his daughter. Prime Suspect Your mission will be to descend 30 meters under Paris, in the City of Martyrs, in order to go to the Taxidermy shop and pretend to be buyers. You will have to find a way to find yourself alone in the store to explore it thoroughly in the hope of solving the mysteries of this disappearance and finding Adèle.

““The Taxidermist” within Deep Inside’s “City of Martyrs” is a masterpiece. From beautifully crafted set pieces, to stunning costumes, and an emotionally crafted story, it is easy to see why TERPECA rated this room #12 in the world. We had a really fun time engaging with the puzzles and story of this room, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. I look forward to trying Deep Inside’s other adventures upon return. The room flowed well, had creative, interactive, and straight up fun puzzles to engage with. The staff were absolutely wonderful and did a great job leading us through the experience.”

Magicians have the mission to surprise us with their great spectacular illusions, this is the case of the well-known Magicien de Paris. During the day, he performs exceptional tricks, but when he returns to his creative studio, he practices much more experimental magic... His latest creation is rather disturbing as it turns out to be powerful. If no one tries to steal it from him, he could cause a lot of damage. You will have to be as creative as him to succeed in lifting the veil on this too well-kept secret.

“The puzzles flowed smoothly, the set transformations feel like actual magic, and it had some of the most unique actor interactions we have ever seen - the live finale had us giggling with delight. We escaped in about an hour with zero hints; the difficulty is perfectly tuned. No time limit; it's about story and experience, and it nails both.”

The Full experience Pack, proposes to chain our two rooms: You start with "The Magician of Paris" and you go directly to "The funhouse". An exclusive and unique story connects our two adventures so as not to go out of immersion and action, the two rooms follow one another as a single and unique adventure intensifying more and more before your return to the surface of Paris.

“We loved the Magician side of the experience but were more meh on the Funhouse. The Magician has fun actor interactions, a chance to put on costumes, interesting puzzles, and a cohesive storyline. The Funhouse has a hall of mirrors and a "chased by a killer" element. There were many opportunities for the Funhouse to explore interesting avenues. That being said, they both manage to build a world in the undergrounds that is detailed and believable. One character was shouting Hamlet lines outside our room (mainly from the soliloquies), and since I teach Hamlet, I shouted them back.”

Abandoned amusement park, disused asylum, abandoned prison... Have you seen all the best urbex videos on Youtube? XNUMX meters below Paris is a special place… An old abandoned Funhouse. If children and families loved coming to have fun there several years ago, it has now become the most disturbing place in the city of martyrs... In a short time, this place went from bursts of laughter to cries of horror… You are far from imagining what is hidden inside. Your emotions and your fears may be put to the test, good luck.

“After the magic show, we couldn't leave the City of Martyrs without a trip to the Funhouse first. Sadly, it was closed, and a mad, blind clown was roaming its halls. This was a pretty classic room, with a menace trying to get you, and you staying away. We have still not played a bunch of horror rooms, but really liked this one. Because the "rules" are very clear, I think this is a great room to play if you are dipping your toes into horror. Great interactions, and fun actor segments made this one stand out for me. Some good puzzles, but they were not the focus of the experience.”

You are about to spend a night in the sumptuous Grand Hôtel De Paris, a historic and iconic place in the capital which opens its doors to you for an unforgettable night. Our entire staff is honored to welcome you and will be happy to make your stay unique, as this has always been the reason for being of our founding fathers. Just a few years after its opening, the Grand Hôtel de Paris has become a true reference, an institution, which has seen many souls pass through its midst. Movie stars, politicians, and other celebrities have all found themselves here during the golden age of our establishment. This very special establishment owes its fame to a historical object that it houses, one of the very first hydraulic elevators ever designed. A true technological innovation that was infallible in its time, it still works today and is waiting for you. Several decades have passed but the Grand Hôtel de Paris is still there and opens its doors to you today.

“What an experience! As we are still not very used to horror rooms, I was a bit afraid going in, but this was such a blast, from beginning to end. It is scary, but in a fun way, and never too much. I loved the beginning, I loved the set design, I loved the acting, I loved the puzzles, I loved almost every single moment of the experience. The end is fantastic as well. If you are new to horror, don't let that stop you from playing this game. It really showed me that horror can be something I love, and I truly loved this game!”

“Wow, what an experience! We had heard great things about this before entering, but nothing could have prepared me for what we experienced during these two hours. This is not a classic puzzle based escape room. The story and set progression is in the front, and it was done to almost perfection. The set design is of the absolute best I have ever seen, and parts of it, I cannot understand how anyone can ever make anything that looks better. The story is good, and easy to follow, and our actor, Gabriella, did an absolutely fantastic job, and we would never have guessed that it was only the second time she did the role in English. Since the actor is a big part of the experience, we thank Gabriella for making this truly special for us. There is always small things you can nitpick on, but I will choose to let you discover them (or not care about them) yourself. I would travel very, very far to play this, and I would give a lot to play it again for the first time!”

“Absolutely amazing experience, one of the most immersive and high quality rooms I’ve ever done. The puzzles are nice but the main focus is on the overall adventure, there were some really surprising moments that made this a standout best.”

It's been a few weeks since the Paris PD investigated, without success, a number of strange disapearing cases. Different sources lead you to the Voltaire slaughter house, this really weird abandoned place where body bags have been found. This time One Hour changes the rules, you don't have to flee from a place but from a person ! Your goal ? To survive in the Voltaire slaughter house while being chased by the horrifying butcher. Similar to a slasher film, the slaughter house will make you loose your head. If you don't want to be the next victims through the butchers sadistic hands, you had better try be more clever than him ,,,

“We haven’t done a lot of horror rooms yet, and with a 6 on the EacapeRoomers scale (we have played one 6 before), I was afraid this would be quite scary. One of the reasons I liked this one a lot, is because I didn’t find it that scary. The setting was scary, and the butcher was scary, but not to the point of feeling too scared. Some fun puzzling, even if one segment lasted too long, and included one of my least favorite type of puzzle. All in all, a great experience! Our GM also did a great job!”

“Great room. Perfect for our group of 2. Our GM was very fun and did a fantastic job, thanks Mateo! Great style of puzzles and some different from other rooms we have played. Has a clear and solid storyline. Really nice theming. The game seems adjustable to how you are doing, harder if you are doing well and easier if you are running behind which I liked. Staff was very friendly.”

“This room was quite different to most of the other rooms that we'd done, and while this led to a little confusion at times (which may have also been due to completing the room in English, rather than the native French), it was still an excellent experience. The key difference is that it's driven by the story, and solving a puzzle progresses the story, rather than unlocking a new puzzle. Our GM was excellent, and the experience was a lot of fun.”

How Do Escape Rooms Work?

Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
