The Battle for BritainEscape PlanEscape roomIRLWhat a treat! Our GM happened to be the owner and he took good care of us. The game was one of the best theme incorporations I’ve seen. If you can only do one in London, it’s gotta be this one.
cQ OrigenesclueQuestEscape roomIRLclueQuest is London’s premiere escape room operation. You can get drinks. You can get merch like a magnet with your group’s picture. They have at least doubles of most if not all of their rooms. Excellent, challenging room. Puzzles all made sense. Theme was well incorporated. We had no questions about how things worked at the end. Our GM Miquel was very kind and helpful. This room is definitely an expert level room. Don’t try this unless you have dozens of rooms under your belt or you’re OK with getting lots of hints.

Puzzles all made sense. Our group preferred the cQ:ORIGENES room, but we liked this one, too. Kirstyn was an excellent GM who was very passionate about the company!
FreakshowDeadline Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWow, what an amazing room. The theme of escaping from a circus blended well throughout. Puzzles were well designed and all made sense. This room had a challenge mode I’d suggest trying if your group is experienced with escape rooms.

FocusTec LabsGrapevine EscapeEscape roomIRLAmber is one of the owners and was a lovely GM. One of the coolest parts of the room was you can buy a souvenir cup that they will serve you in as you’re completing the room. Wine was an option. Very unique. Everything in the room was logical, even though once in a while we’d get stuck figuring out how to proceed. The theme was incorporated well into the room, and some of the puzzles were pretty unique. Give this room a shot!
Captain Spoopy Bones and the Magnificent Quest For Some Other Pirate's Treasure!Doldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis is their premier room and didn’t disappoint even with the hype. Like their other rooms, very thematic and logical. My group of two veteran escape roomers needed just a little extra time to get out, so go with at least four people unless you’re experts. Also, Madison was a very friendly GM who gave us just the nudge we needed when we asked for help.

Crazy Train: The Ballad of Skeemin' PlotzDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLExcellent room! The theme was hilarious. It was clear the designer put in a lot of effort to include all sorts of jokes in it. All puzzles were logical. No red herrings. Doable with two experienced escape artists. I appreciate how 75 minutes are given to finish instead of the uniform 60.
The Tipsy TailorIntrepid Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLLove this room. The puzzles meshed seamlessly with the Prohibition theme. Without giving too much away, there’s something for newer enthusiasts and for veterans. Jessica was our GM and owns/runs the room with her sister. The care and passion they have for escape rooms clearly shows in how she ran the room and how they designed it.
The OvergrownEscape Room Era - AnaheimEscape roomIRLPretty fun room. Not the tightest one ever, but lots of fun and worth doing. Theme was on point and the room was moderately difficult.
復活節島 [Tangata Manu]LOST Taiwan 站前店Escape roomIRLI liked this room because the island theme was pretty unique and most of the puzzles meshed well with it. The room was a bit on the easy side, but there were enough puzzles to keep it interesting. Make sure to bring a translator if you can because while the room can be completed with only English, the intro and clues are given in Mandarin.
掠奪 [Stolen]LOST Taiwan 忠孝店Escape roomIRLThis room has the classic art heist theme. Most puzzles were pretty predictable, but it did have one or two that were unique. One thing I didn’t like was that it was possible to “escape” before completing all objectives. It’s worth giving a shot, especially for the price. NB: the room is advertised as being available in Mandarin and English, but hints are only given in Mandarin so bring a translator if you can.
太陽神計畫 [The Apollo Project] - CLOSEDLOST Taiwan 站前店Escape roomIRLThis room was OK. The decor was cool in the first room but after that, it didn’t quite fit the theme. The puzzles were all over the place and rarely flowed with the theme. While all of their rooms technically can be done in English, the intro and hints are given in Mandarin. I’d recommend some of their other rooms first like the island themed one.
九龍寨城 [The Walled City]LOST Taiwan 忠孝店Escape roomIRLThis is one of LOST Taiwan’s better rooms. The puzzles were on the difficult side and the room really felt like you time traveled to old Kowloon. Bring someone who can speak Mandarin because the intro and clues are only given in that language.
