Cold War BunkerWild Goose Escapes - FullertonEscape roomIRLThis escape was a bit straightforward and we had a reasonable time but to describe it in a word, clunky. The game flow didn’t work that well especially with 7 people. There were times where there was not much to do. The puzzles were somewhat basic and there were not really any wow or aha moments. Mostly just a grind through some basic puzzles. My recommendation for this room would be to do it around the 3-4 player count for a better experience.

13th BasementExit Game OC - AnaheimEscape roomIRLA great escape room with twists and turns that we really loved! It was thematic and very immersive with a great set design. Our team completed it with a decent amount of time because we were really on point and solving things well. Not the hardest from a dificulty standpoint but definitely not a detractor for us, it was great!

Few minor little things where there are a lot of props that are labeled as not in play that was slightly immersion breaking but we appreciated the help! Loved the staff there, they were awesome and super passionate about escape rooms!

After completing this chapter, the experience really felt complete. The puzzles in this one really were integrated well into the environment and felt like we were escaping! That's one common theme that is fantastic with all chapters of the basement.

I really enjoyed this one although it was slightly challenging for our group. We had quite a few hints through our earpiece that we just weren't catching on with which we needed to get us through and to make it a memorable experience. Well done!

It was a great room, immersion and a great actor but 7 people is simply too many in my opinion for this room! There simply isn't enough going on for it to warrant that many people. If you want to do this I would definitely recommend it with 3-4 people for the best experience.
The Elevator ShaftTHE BASEMENT: A Live Escape Room Experience - SylmarEscape roomIRLThe elevator shaft is a really unique room that has a room concept that you don't find anywhere else that I've seen. The theme really lends well to it being an escape that logically makes sense which is what I loved about it. The room is really well designed with great effects and immersion.We escaped with a team of three successfully and funny enough we got tripped up a bit in one spot mixing the locker key with a key in the game which is a fun memory!

The story was fantastic and just enough to motivate what we were doing. The puzzling itself was pretty standard and it was difficult at certain points. Loved the set of this room as well as the actor, was great. Overall super fun room with a few scary moments but I recommend doing this room even if you're slightly unsure because it is a great experience!
The Trials Of MerlinTrapped! Escape Room - UplandEscape roomIRLA very well designed set with a thematic story that was definitely on point! This is a huge level up for Trapped having done most of their other escape rooms in this regard. This room really has you feel like you are fully immersed and went on an adventure. We ran into a technical issue towards the end of the room which was unfortunate and slightly frustrating. I do not think this is the norm though. Highly recommend this!
The Last SupperQuest TavernEscape roomIRLLord Garrick was amazing and added so much atmosphere, tension, and engagement to the story. It was a blast to share this experience with family. Highly recommend if you have a group that likes to get into character but even if not they accommodate. Our group was right in the middle!
