Servants of SleightThe Exit Games FLEscape roomIRLWhat can I say, this escape room deserves to be rated as one of the top escape rooms in the nation (which it is). Creativity was great. Gameplay was great. Only issue was my team of 4 blew through the first two rooms and the game master was setting up the next few rooms. We had to exit for about 5-10 minutes while it was set up. This really cooled us off when we were gliding through. Still finished with 30 min left. Excellent game overall, but their best game is without a doubt Pins and Needles.
Pins & Needles Tattoo ParlorThe Exit Games FLEscape roomIRLThis, in my groups opinion, is the best room The Exit Games offers. It is an absolute thrill and one of the top rooms in the nation for a reason. Immersion excellent, creativity excellent, clues and gameplay excellent. This escape room really is next level and I would not miss it if you are in the area.
The Man From BeyondStrange Bird ImmersiveEscape roomIRLTop tier room for sure! Immersion was great, story was great, and prop use was excellent. Very fun room and well laid out. High tech but everything was in theme. Acting was the cherry on top, but we would have liked it to be more interactive and impactful to the actual game. If in the area you can’t miss it. Definitely one of the best in the US. Is it the best in the US? Not in our group’s opinion. We have done a handful of better ones. But we go around doing the country’s best rooms, and this one has cracked our top ten. MUST do if you’re in the area!
Crane ManorClue IQEscape roomIRLCrane Manor doesn’t disappoint. Great immersive atmosphere with a cool twist. Relatively unique and some unseen puzzles. Top game for the Tristate area.
The Chesapeake Bay ButcherColonial Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAbsolutely fantastic room. What a blast! Imagine being trapped in the cabin of a killer in the middle of the night. They really have outdone themselves and you feel like you’re there. Immersion was top notch! These guys go above and beyond in their control room to make everything go off perfectly. Clues were original and fun. Great prop work. Huge amount of space and all of it used. Can’t say enough about this room. Out of the over 100 rooms we have done, this remains one of my groups all time favorites. Don’t pass this one up!
Phantom Files: The Investigation Of Lockturne ManorThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLAnother HIT from The Escape Ventures. TONS of fun. Immersion was top notch and the actor was the cherry on top. Everything in the room made sense. There was never a “huh” moment when completing a puzzle. Unique puzzles and very high tech, while always staying “in theme.” We have played over 100 games and top TERPECA games and after playing both games at this location, I’m convinced they can run with the best. Can’t wait for their next game to open
The Last SupperQuest TavernEscape roomIRL10/10. Seriously, YOU HAVE TO DO THIS ROOM. The Last Supper has just become my top 2nd or 3rd room (out of 100ish). Immersion, acting and interaction were all top notch. Production value was also incredible. Unique story with some great puzzles. You can tell these people really care about escape rooms and are passionate. MUST DO! This is one of those “worth the drive” games.
Click 'N Glitch Arcade PalaceThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLAwesome room. Technically perfect. Everything flowed, all clues logical. Immersive, well maintained. Live actor/GM Claire was amazing! Also worth noting that the live actor was incorporated flawlessly. Never felt forced, quite the opposite. Great mix of mechanical and high tech that fit the rooms theme. A must do. We will be back to try all rooms at both Escape Ventures locations.
Heresy: 1897Doors of DivergenceEscape roomIRLWhat an experience! The reviews don’t lie, Heresy 1897 is the definition of what an escape room should be! This room, along with their other room (these MUST both be played, they go together), took our top two spots on our favorite escape rooms (we have played hundreds). Immersion is top notch, from the moment you enter the bar to the second you leave the building. Clues were unique and puzzles well thought out. Truly an experience not to be missed. Not much else to say other than DO IT or you’ll regret it.
Stash HouseStash HouseEscape roomIRLGood room. A LOT to do and cover. I recommend 4 people. Even as someone who has done 100ish rooms, with just two people, this room proved to be very difficult. Extremely non linear. Probably one of the most non linear rooms I have ever played. There is easily 4 different puzzle lines you can be doing at any given time. Again, this makes it very difficult to organize between 2 people and Can feel chaotic at times To be fair, the game is designed for more than just 2 people. Decent mix of old school locks and cool tech surprises. Unique concept. Fun and definitely worth doing.
