Nominee (2025)

A long time ago, Freya, the goddess of love and war, did something very human - she fell in love with a mortal - a young warrior named Regnar. Their love was pure, but forbidden. As punishment, Freya was cursed to go blind whenever close to Regnar and thus never be able to see her true love ever again. Heartbroken, she sat down by an old fountain deep inside a forest, and cried a thousand tears.

Feeling her sorrow, a dwarf blacksmith decided to help. He took a strain of Freya's golden hair and forged it into a magical ring. A ring, powerful enough to break all curses in it’s presence. They decided to hide the ring in the fountain and so this became the one secret place where the two lovers could be together.

But the ring was taken..

Now, by a twist of faith perhaps You came across it, and for better or worse, it is now your job restore it to the fountain before it looses it’s magical powers, so that Regnar and Freya may be together once again.

This room is definitely in my top 10 of all time. The tech, the scenery, and the staff were all so incredible. This location was our highlight of our Denver trip, and making Tears of Freya as my friend's first ever escape room set a high bar for their future escapes. If you're thinking about this room, definitely book it. You won't regret it.

Introducing the first Conundrum escape room at our Arvada location! This one is a real mind bender, with intense clues that challenge your very sanity.

A lot of very unique puzzles!! With only 2 of us, we definitely had to boogie!! And we would have been faster if we had read ALL of the provided instructions before jumping into the collaborative puzzles. Split start, which did require good communication skills. Nothing was super tricky within this mostly linear room. Once we got together, everything flowed much faster which helped us get out just in time!! Super fun room overall!!

Every 100 years when the moon and stars align, the ancient curse can be lifted. Enter the secret chamber inside an abandoned monastery and solve its riddles to free the souls. But you must hurry, for if you fail, the book shall close for another 100 years.

It’s small but lovely. I think puzzles are good if they’re impressive, satisfying to have solved, or fun to do. I wouldn’t say these are impressive compared to the brand new Mystic rooms in Denver, but they are satisfying and actively fun. Frankly, I’d chose that any day.

The Book Of Souls

The year is 1929. One stormy night, Nikola Tesla vanished without warning, leaving behind a sealed laboratory and a series of unanswered questions. His trusted assistant, George, believed the inventor was lost for good—until a distorted transmission suddenly broke through.

“…trapped in… another dimension… coil unstable… hurry…”

Unable to complete the work alone, George has called you—the worldʼs most ingenious engineers—to help finish Teslaʼs secret experiment. Follow Teslaʼs research, stabilize the coil, and reopen the Portal within the next 60 minutes, before it collapses for good. Once it seals, Tesla will be lost beyond reach forever...

Gorgeous game. Cute cocktail lounge in the front with some light delicious bites. We escaped as a team of 2. Loved this room! Some unique puzzles in here I’ve never seen before! Our GM was awesome - shout out to Anna Maria!

Nikola Tesla - The Last Experiment

Elvis has been erased from history! Your mission is to travel back to 1953, restore the timeline, reassemble a time machine and return to the present. Will you succeed before the time window closes and you are trapped in the 50s forever?

Very immersive with a good mix of traditional locks and sensor type locks. I liked the puzzles and the flow and logic was excellent. Definitely a harder room and I wouldn't bring more than 4 people. 2-3 experienced players would be ideal.

Riverdale Road is known as the most haunted road in Colorado. With stories of hangings, burnings and road-side accidents, lost souls and decrepit creatures roam the 11-mile stretch aching for help from those passing by.

Legend has it, long ago a man went mad burning down his mansion with his family trapped inside. With the structure left in ashes, the only thing left standing was the iron gates – the Gates to Hell. Since the malicious incident, locals have reported evil beings roaming the road looking for their next victim.

Recently, there have been reports of strange gatherings near the gates with claims of evil rituals and human sacrifices linked to disappearances in the area. As night falls over the rustling fields, it’s been rumored that the gatherers, disguised as scarecrows, come out to hunt their victims.

They’re watching. They’re waiting. Evil is right behind you.

Venture through all-new, uncharted territory at the Haunted Field of Screams – weave through giant corn stalks, encounter multiple haunted houses and survive the Riverdale Gates of Hell. On this road in the middle of nowhere, evil has found the perfect place to hide.

A wizards spell gone wrong; a dragon's curse. You will race against the clock to level up your magic skills in order to save the realm. There is only one way to break the curse...

This was an absolute blast and one of those rooms that just puts a smile on your face the entire time. The puzzle flow was excellent and we stayed in a great rhythm throughout the game. There were even a few genuinely funny moments during puzzle solving that had our group laughing, which made the experience even more memorable. You can tell a lot of thought and care was baked into this room because everything felt intentional. The tech and magic elements were integrated really well and added to the experience without feeling gimmicky. The ending was especially fun and gave us one of those satisfying team moments where everyone was smiling afterward.

Big shoutout to our GM who was also the owner. She was incredibly personable and friendly, and we ended up hanging around talking escape rooms afterward and swapping recommendations for rooms in CA when her fam comes out our way and for the next time we are back in CO. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. It was a BLAZING good time and definitely a room we'd recommend.

Really solid room! Lots of fun and unique puzzles. I'm excited to see what other rooms they have in store in the future! My friends and I also made the leaderboard for the month which we were excited about!

The Mummy's Tomb

Time travel just became a reality in this digitally-interactive escape room adventure. As part of the Time Crisis Management team, you’re tasked with addressing life-threatening issues, no matter what decade they happen in. You can easily hop between centuries, from the Jurassic to Medieval and everything in between, with just one ticket swipe on Timeliner, the time-traveling train. Now, the fate of reality is in your hands — it’s up to you to restore the past and save the future. And you’ll have to hurry! All it takes is one mistake in the past for the entire future to fall apart…

I had a blast! This game isn't the hardest, but the puzzles are unique and varied. The set is nice and you get a cool souviner! It would play especially well for a group of new players getting introduced to escape rooms, it sets the bar high.

The Escape Game
