“Absolutely LOVED this escape room! Definitely one of my all time favorites!! The puzzles flow well from one to another and the mechanisms were all very novel and unique! No spoilers, but one part blew our minds!!! Look forward to it!! 😍 Not scary! Very immersive! Experience starts before the door haha. In terms of difficulty, we went in as a group of 2 and finished pretty fast, I’m estimating somewhere around 1hr? They didn’t have a clock lol. All the GMs were very enthusiastic and friendly! The entire lodge has the vibes of being among hobbyists sharing similar interests! The Lazarus Lodge is also a bar and cafe, opens at 4PM I believe! There are also puzzles you can do at the lodge! The puzzles are slightly on the medium harder side, so younger kids might not be able to fully enjoy the rooms! No scary elements though some props are slightly creepy 🤣 None in the Founders Secret specifically though. Just outside. Overall I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this escape room!! You won’t regret it! 🥰❤️”

“Fun room. Not a typical escape room. There are no number locks and only one key lock if I remember right. You have to figure out spell names and wand combinations to advance. Definitely a unique experience.”

“Super fun room! Great progression of puzzles for our team of five. While a handful are only solvable one at a time, there were enough components that allowed us to quickly solve a few in succession, once one was completed.”

“This room was beautiful and pretty straightforward. It was relatively easy and we didn't use any clues. I just really loved the atmosphere of this room and the puzzles were pretty unique to any other escape room I've done!”

“Lots of fun unique puzzles. Our group of two experienced puzzlers happened to be paired with two newcomers. We were able to work together and teach the newcomers escape room basics. We finished with plenty of time to spare”

“This is marked as spooky, but the only scary thing about it is the number of OSHA violations (in the fictional hospital not the real escape room). I didn’t think I’d love this room because of the theme, but I really did. The puzzles are fun, especially for people who are more logical minded. This room has the coolest set design element I’ve ever seen and it’s worth it just for that.”

“The Initiation is a blast! It really lets you explore the lodge in ways you normally aren't able to with the other escape rooms. You can can go at your own pace, and even come back a different day if you need to to finish up your tracking card. You'll have a lot of fun taking in all the details of the lodge and get to immerse yourself in the world building Lazarus Crowe had built (and keeps building!). Plus, once you complete the experience, you're an official member of the Lazarus Lodge. Members get a discount on the other escape experiences!”

“Excellent experience. I have never been to an escape room where I had to find my way in before. Cool touch. The puzzles were good. Not too hard but not too easy. A couple were a bit hard to wrap our heads around, even after we knew what we were doing, though. Definitely would be back for their others if I return to the area.”

“I really enjoyed this room. There were screens with effects that really helped make it feel like you were in a sub descending underwater. We found the puzzles very easy as a group of very experienced escape room players. I wouldn’t recommend this room for more than 4, especially if you have escape room experience. But it was very fun and the ending is one of my favorite things I’ve seen in an escape room.”

“Hands down the best Camelot-themed room I've played. It's beautifully executed in both set design and puzzle experience. There are a lot of fun little surprises you'll encounter when solving some of the puzzles that adds to the immersion as well. I'd definitely replay this if a different group would be interested in trying it out.”

“Really a great room, but maybe not the best from The Escape game. The puzzles were all interesting and satisfying, albeit maybe a bit easy. Also wish the room was a bit larger. I did it with a group of four and I certainly wouldn’t recommend going any larger than that for space and due to puzzle difficulty.”

“One of the better video-game themed rooms we’ve done. We really appreciated the number of video games referenced in this room and the overall number and variety of puzzles involved. It isn’t super high-tech, but there was a good mix of tech with number/letter locks. We were 2 enthusiasts, and we finished the room in about 40 minutes. We wished it was longer, but we enjoyed every minute we spent in it!”

“Of the rooms at this location, this one has to be one of my favorites. It's a lot of fun, with cools puzzles. The staff were very friendly and because we finished so fast, offered us one of their online escape room envelopes for free, which was very kind of them.”

“One of many very cool things at the Lodge: Each escape room has a dedicated “artifact” that allows you to interact with the strange artwork, vaguely steampunk devices, and antique ephemera that fills the sprawling corridors and anterooms of the Lodge. You can’t even ENTER your escape room until you’ve solved some puzzles using this artifact, after which point the proper escaping begins. We thought this was a really cool way to lead into the experience, creating a strong thematic cohesion and taking advantage of the hallways and in-between spaces that 99% of escape room companies ignore. There is a chalkboard in this room, and you are going to need it. In fact, multiple rooms at the Lodge feature chalkboards, and so do some of the rooms at Puzzleworks a few miles away. Maybe this is a Minneapolis thing? Oddly enough, out 150 rooms played, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a chalkboard in an escape room before. This is a one-room experience, but featured a number of really fun and novel puzzles in a compact space. Our group consisted of 3 players, which was perfect. There’s not really enough for 4 players to do, but plenty for 3. This photo depicts one of the weird hallways, it’s not a photo of the room itself.”

“Really fun and funky puzzles! Liked the immersion, and creative problem solving. Really challenged our thinking, and surprised us a lot! To get the story, we read a synopsis off a plaque on the wall, which I wasn't a fan of- since I read the same thing online. Wish the pregame experience was as immersive as inside.”
