SinisterEscape Reality - Central CoastEscape roomIRLThis room had an impressive story line and the puzzles flowed well in a linear sequence. I personally found the room scary however I am not used to scary rooms! The scares did not take away from the overall room and everyone was still able to participate in the room. We had a group of 6 and there was enough for everyone to do in the room. This room was a similar quality to some of the best that we’ve done in Sydney! Would highly recommend!
The Lost TreasureEscape ZoneEscape roomIRLThis room had a nice theme and decor however we felt the storyline was lacking resulting in a reduced immersive feeling. There was a lot of decoding of symbols which I am personally not a fan of. This room was fun and made sense however didn’t stand out as anything memorable.
Perpetual MotionElude Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLSuch an amazing room!! This room definitely challenged us so will need our A game for their more challenging rooms that we are yet to do. Percetual Motion had some unique puzzles that we hadn’t come across before, we enjoyed the clue system and the attention to detail in this room was unmatched. We loved chatting with the owner after our game and received some great recommendations for other rooms in Sydney. Can’t wait to be back for the other rooms!

I enjoyed the competitive nature of this game while still incorporating traditional components of an escape room. The puzzles and set design was well thought out. We love the game master involvement at next level which really elevates the storyline. We can’t wait to come back to try the last remaining room on our list for next level.
Wild West: Roy's RevengeEvolo Room EscapeEscape roomIRLWe were very impressed with this room! The tech in this room was fantastic and flowed with the game. There was heaps of puzzles to do in this room, a lot of which we had not come across before. Another great room by Evolve!
Diamond HeistEvolo Room EscapeEscape roomIRLThe tech in this room was incredible and really contributed to the immersive feeling of this room. This is the type of room that can involve all players. We are looking forward to trying out other rooms at Evolve!
Time Traveller's AdventureEscape Rooms TamworthEscape roomIRLWasn’t a huge fan of this room due to the puzzles not always making sense and the game master. Whilst we were greeted on arrival and the game master was pleasant we found they weren’t watching our game as we had to explain where we were up to when needing a clue and then when we finished the room we were unsure if this was the case as it took them a few minutes to come in. The layout of the room was nice and the puzzles have potential however they did not flow well and the storyline was confusing.
End of the RoadNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLThis room felt like we had been transported to another world. The attention to detail and story line was phenomenal. The game master was involved throughout the game and spent some time at the end explaining the puzzles and design of this room. Can’t fault this one!!
Forest of EchoesNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLA stand out of Next Level Escape is their game master involvement. The narration throughout the game and explanation of the story line is like no other escape room company we have experienced. The attention to detail in this room and production value was beautiful. Personally I prefer rooms that have multiple rooms and surprises which was the only thing lacking from Forest of Echoes, however I am aware this may just be a personal preference! Sometimes I did find the recordings and narrations to be a little drawn out where I just wanted to get on with the game however I am used to more traditional escape rooms.
Mr Pepper’s Toy ShopThe Cipher Room St PetersEscape roomIRLI was a little apprehensive about this room given the spooky element however was pleasantly surprised that whilst the atmosphere felt spooky and there were some scary elements they flowed well within the game and did not take our focus away from being able to progress through the room. The puzzles and effects were like nothing we have seen before. This room definitely lives up to its hype!! Can’t wait to see cipher’s highly anticipated new room!
The CabinThe Cipher Room NewtownEscape roomIRLFantastic theme and storyline throughout this room. It really felt immersive like we were in the scene. My only fault was one of the puzzles was a little tricky to hear which chewed up some time.

We enjoyed the black and white theme as this is something we haven’t experienced before in an escape room. There were a lot of puzzles to do in this room but we found they made sense and were relatively easy to follow.
The Show Must Go On - CLOSEDNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLThis escape room was like nothing we have experienced before! Personally I prefer more challenging rooms that are of a typical escape room structure but this was a nice change and it was clearly explained on the website. Our game master Myhka was fantastic at bringing the game to life.
The Lost Mine - CLOSEDMission Escape Pitt StEscape roomIRLThis game had amazing production value and props that we have never seen before. I feel the story flowed well and I enjoyed the ending. The room had fully tech puzzles. Some of the tech puzzles were touchy which resulted in the puzzles being very time consuming.
Journey Through Wonderland - CLOSEDEscape ZoneEscape roomIRLA great family friendly escape room! The puzzles were fun and related well to the theme of the room.
The Iron KingdomEscape Reality - Central CoastEscape roomIRLAnother great escape room by escape reality! The productive value of this room was fantastic. Personally I am not a huge fan of rooms that have an iPad for a clue system. The room was very linear and all the puzzles made sense. In particular I enjoyed the ending!

Given the hype I had very high expectations for this room and they were definitely exceeded. It was like no other escape room that I have experienced. The attention to detail and storyline were well thought out. I also liked the souvenir pin that we were given for completing the room.
EspionageThe Cipher Room NewtownEscape roomIRLVery immersive and engaging room. I came across puzzles that I haven’t seen before which was interesting. The storyline flowed well. Will definitely be back for the other cipher rooms!
Bank HeistSocial Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWe really enjoyed this game! A stand out was being provided with a statistical breakdown of our progress in the room and a magnet for escaping. I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the additional tasks that you could complete if you had extra time available as I felt it took away from the storyline of the room. The productive value of this room was fantastic!
