    Wow wow wow, this room was something else. There’s basically 26 puzzles available almost immediately…which is overwhelming but eventually you get in the groove and it’s not too bad. Basically, you are trying to cool recipes by finding the symbol of the recipe and solving a puzzle associated with it to get ingredients needed, then find those ingredients, input them on the food making IPad and Boom! One food item done, rinse repeat 26 times, and it is genuinely so much fun. The room is completely non linear, and while technically not an “escape room” with no hidden room or whatever, the puzzles, the set design, everything was absolutely on point. It is a frantic mess and I loved it. We played with 3 enthusiasts and completed 17/26 recipes in the allotted 75 minutes, and would happily go back and do it with more people just to do more recipes. Go play this room!

    This was a very cool room! The set design and atmosphere felt straight out of Disney, and was definitely the strongest point of the room. The puzzles were great as well; though, an over reliance on a certain puzzle type bothered me a little, especially cuz it is not my kind of puzzle. The room was very linear, with one puzzle clearly being lit up and ready to use at a time, and there was a good bit of down time, as most of the puzzles were solo puzzles, not group puzzles. I did find some of the puzzles to be very inventive and unique, with some being clever new twists on puzzles I’ve seen before. One of the puzzles though is one of my all time favorites in all the rooms I’ve done, it was just so fun. I highly recommend this room, though, watch for player size and linearity and the fact it’s not really “one and done” like many other rooms, which they did not tell us beforehand. Can’t wait to see Trivium’s next game.

    This was absolutely my favorite of Escape Ventures rooms (second place was neighborhood watcher, followed by granny’s blackmail, then outage then bros for life) the set design, puzzles, interaction with the live actor, everything was absolutely perfect. Set design was spot on, and there were so many rooms, it just kept going and it was so so good. Basically all of the puzzles were simple and intuitive yet fantastic and fun. The live actor did a fantastic job, he was hilarious, and so much fun to interact with. The actor isn’t scary, don’t worry. I highly highly recommend this game to everyone. P.S. shoutout to Lawrence for the fantastic work!

    OMG, there’s a reason this game has so many awards under its belt. It is phenomenal, it still tops my list as the best escape room I’ve ever done. The technology, the familiar yet distinctness to it, so, so many elements that’ll have you gasping over and over again while you’re in there. It’s truly a phenomenal experience, and one I wish I could play for the first time again. Fantastic group puzzles, about a quarter of the room has fairly traditional feeling escape room puzzles and aspects and the rest completely redefines what a good escape room should be like. Highly, highly recommend!

    Surprisingly this was my least favorite of the games at Escape Ventures. That’s not to say this game was bad by any means, it definitely wasn’t. Great puzzle design, great atmosphere, etc…What dragged it down a ways for me was that in spite of having more than 8 minutes remaining, and having already played 3 games at this point our new GM felt very pushy with unwarranted clues. My party tends to play for as few clues as possible and will stubbornly wait for clues. As a GM I understand and accept nudges but these felt a little too frequent and a little too heavy handed. Otherwise though, this room was really good and is absolutely deserving of the praise it gets.

    Wow! Seeing the pictures online, I wasn’t super impressed, to be honest, but after playing I’m truly blown away. The set design wasn’t the craziest thing I’ve seen, it wasn’t bad to be fair but the puzzles and the…let’s just say space you go through were phenomenal. The best part of the room is a massive spoiler, but trust me, it’s worth it. It also featured one of my favorite puzzles of all time, and had so many “wow, that is cool” moments. I can not recommend it enough.

    Wow! This game is phenomenal, every part of it shows care and dedication, the room flowed flawlessly, had inventive puzzles and elements that even after 150 games I hadn’t seen before. The room was also hilarious, the hint system and the little Easter eggs and nods around the room were awesome. I can’t rave about this room enough! Go play it!

    Really well done room, great theming and story integration. Very nice set, and some unique puzzles. GMs clearly care about their rooms and are really nice. Good mix of linear and non linear, and great use of teamwork due to the split start.
