Far-FetchedOpen Door Escape Games - RedlandsEscape roomIRLThis was so fun! Such a unique theme. The set design was so amazing. I really enjoyed the puzzles too, they were pretty unique. I’d recommend this one to both beginners and experienced players
Close EncountersJourney Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis room was good, probably the most creative of the bunch at Journey. I appreciate the effort this company has put into their rooms, but I think some parts felt unfinished. Some puzzles were styles that I tend to enjoy, so that was fun. There was more tech in this room than in their others, which I really appreciated!
The StorykeeperLocurioEscape roomIRLI loved this room! I was shocked about the twist (I went in completely blind on what would happen) and had a great time. I enjoyed that even the style of the clues were immersive. I can't wait to come back to Seattle just to do their other rooms.
Tomb Of Anubis13th Gate EscapeEscape roomIRLThis room is amazing! The set and production is top tier. Genuinely shocking moments. While it is one of the rooms where you follow a journal most of the time, I thought the puzzles were still very interesting and fun. Our GM was so amazing! He helped us right as we needed it.
Mountain Top MurdersThe Great Escape Room - ChicagoEscape roomIRLThe room was okay! I thought it would be creepier. The game guides are not actually there, so when we finished we just... walked out. It was incredibly awkward. The ending was spoiled because it was left open and the game guide obviously was not paying attention. We told the worker after and she was like "why didn't you say anything" like idk what was I going to say about that? And they were helping other people so it all just seemed chaotic and like a mess.
The Haunted Hotel [prev. Escape Artist: The Final Seance]The Great Escape Room - ChicagoEscape roomIRLI thought the game and puzzles were fun. I think this is my favorite room at the company. The clue systems/ the game guides though! We waited at least 5 minutes for a clue and then we got something we already knew. This has my experience during all 5 of the rooms I've done here!!
Runaway TrainBreakout Games - NashvilleEscape roomIRLRunaway Train was a fun room. I think the theme was interesting. The puzzles were just okay, but mostly logical. I've read reviews that there's a lot of math in the game, but honestly it was fine! My group of two finished in about 35 minutes.
Wild WestBreakout Games - NashvilleEscape roomIRLBreakout is one of the only places in Nashville that has private bookings, which is what led me to come here. I would say this room is good. It was fun, interesting, and puzzles were logical. It has more interesting components than most other rooms at Breakout. This is one of the best rooms at Breakout!
Hope EndThe Ministry Of PeculiaritiesEscape roomIRLThis was one of the best escape rooms I’ve ever done! Out of all 75 that I’ve done, I think this is the most immersive and unique. The actors were extremely impressive. Wasn’t scary, just a bit spooky! I felt like I was in an escape room combined with a fantastic theater experience. If you’re in Southern California, the drive is 100% worth it. Can’t wait for the second room!
The Bridge BetweenQuest TavernEscape roomIRLSuch a great room! Extremely immersive. The way that they give hints was very fun and unique. The game guide was funny and made us laugh along the way! It was honestly so fun. The puzzles were just the right amount of challenging but still fun!
45 Lampkin LaneConfusion EscapesEscape roomIRLIt was such a good time! I was so scared! It was so fun and a few of the components of the room were super cool. I would definitely recommend this room!
KnightFallExodus Escape Room - Rancho CucamongaEscape roomIRLI really enjoyed this room! It was a classic escape room with puzzles that were logical and fun. There were puzzles I've never seen before and some surprises! I honestly was extremely impressed with my experience. My group of 4 got out and were placed on the leaderboard! We all felt like we got to contribute good amounts and work on different things. I think this is the best Exodus room!!!
Villains VendettaExodus Escape Room - Rancho CucamongaEscape roomIRLI thought this room was okay. I'm a fan of the unique theme, but I felt like at least two of the puzzles were illogical which is my pet peeve in escape rooms.
HeadcaseBreaking Point Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWhen I say you need to get in your car and drive to Rancho to do this room, I mean it. Breaking Point has the best rooms in the IE, hands down. Headcase was just the right amount of creepy but not enough to make me want to pause or slow down. My group of 4 was challenged without feeling too overwhelmed. The room has unique aspects that I haven't really seen elsewhere.
Save The City - COMING SOONCity Limits Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLSuch a fun experience! This is perfect for groups who love to book back-to-back rooms when visiting a new place. Even themes I generally wouldn't be a fan of tied together with the overall story extremely well and made them interesting! We got lost in the overall storyline at times, as it was only auditory (though this was a while ago, so might have changed). It was definitely tiring, but my group finished with lots of time to spare.
The Secret At Whitmore EstateBreaking Point Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLI absolutely loved this room! So immersive and fun! I saw someone else describe it as a mix between Clue and Haunted Mansion and thought that was a great comparison. I was not the biggest fan of the list that tells you what needs to be done, but it was helpful since it was a bigger room (especially since my group was small). This is in my top 10 escape rooms definitely, maybe even top 5.
Infirmary: Surgical CrisisThe Great Escape Room - ChicagoEscape roomIRLI have real problems with this room. The game guide gave us WRONG clues. They directed us to things that did not even matter. Puzzles did not fit in with the plot and were illogical. I honestly have a lot of problems with the company, as game guides are not in person here. The staff seemed overwhelmed and it was so disorganized.
Medieval MayhemJourney Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis is the best room at Journey. The atmosphere/set was dramatically better than their Locked In room. The puzzles were good. The room was not mind blowing, but it's a good time. If you're looking for a room in Fontana, I would do this one!
Locked InJourney Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLI think this room needs a lot of work. I try to be more understanding and forgiving when it's a smaller company, but their other two rooms are dramatically better than this one. Some puzzles were illogical and the room seems extremely thrown together. I think it's a good concept but the puzzles definitely need work.
Goonies Never Say Die [prev. Hey You Guys!!!]Journey Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was a good room to just do. Some puzzles were questionable but I had fun. I do think it should be advertised as more of a pirate theme.
