Escape the Darkest Hour: Torture Chamber

The room was amazing even though it took my group like 15 minutes for the first puzzle but everything connected and we got a good pacing to complete the room. We ended up passing with 5 minutes on the clock. Our game host was really funny and nice. The puzzles were not particularly difficult. I am new to escape rooms as I have had about 8 escape rooms. I think this would be perfect for beginners.

Fun room with jump scares! Definitely creepy. Puzzles were somewhat challenging, but not overly so. It was better they weren’t more challenging for our group since they were a particularly jumpy group. 😂

This was my first time at an escape room and it was a great first experience! Super fun and exciting! Everyone was super nice and we escaped with 10 minutes on the clock! We went in a group of 6 and we all LOVED it! 10/10 recommend!

When we walk up to the establishment, the GM immediately asks us if we’re prepared to play the scary room, really hyping up the fear factor. I asked if there was a live actor and he gave me a non answer until another GM later confirmed there would not be an actor in the room. This was a stressful start to the game for me. The game was not as scary as the game master had made it out to be and once I was able to calm down after having been riled up, I was able to enjoy the game. It had good flow and pretty unique puzzles with some cool jump scare elements. The scenic design was really well done but the set wasn’t utilized a lot. I felt like there weren’t a ton of puzzles and we escaped too quickly for my liking with a group of 2 very experienced players and 2 newer players. It just didn’t really scratch the escape room itch for me.

Love going into these things completely blind. Not only an amazing game but great friends to play with. When you first walk in the pitch black throws your senses off. It's pretty awesome once the game begins. Lots of surprises and some puzzles that you have to interact with

SO spooky, and so fun! Some well timed jump scares make this a frightening and fun filled room. Add some ultra dim lighting, and it’s perfect for Halloween. Fun puzzles, and a little gore to spice it up.

I don’t know if we were on our A game or what. We played with 2 players that we have never played with before. They were here on vacation from Switzerland and had just spent 12 hours at Disneyland. We set the new fastest time for this room ever. We finished so fast the owner let us play another game on the house. 🙏🏽
