“Baldwin Manor had a lot of puzzles and they flowed well. I enjoyed the theming of the rooms and the overall aesthetic. The story line worked well and we beat the overall best time for 2 players which was awesome. Definitely a good room!”

“I’m so obsessed with Escape Artists. I was really impressed by this escape room. I loved the theme and how the puzzles were integrated into the story. There was a lot to do, but the puzzles weren’t too brutal in terms of difficulty. They were actually very clever and pretty simple. The only thing that could be improved would be lighting because of some puzzles involving colors were hard to see. I played with one other person and we had 30 seconds remaining when we escaped. There is a lot to do and so much going on so more people would be helpful, unless you can keep a fast pace. The atmosphere was really cool and all of the technological elements were a lot of fun. 🤩 💜 Also David was a 10/10 game master 💯💯”

“This room kept me on my feet always. I never felt board, there were so many puzzles to solve, each of different types. So many fun moments as well as eery moments. Really fun to do with a group and work as a team. Although it seemed a bit older and not as high-tech as other rooms, I still was very impressed and enjoyed it very much. This room always kept surprising me and I truly enjoyed it! Highly recommend!”

“Very surprised with the set in this room!! Really took a wow factor to a whole new lever with each thing that opened. I played this game for the first time over in Tampa and thought that was good…but the set is just so much better in the OG I just gotta say😭😍”

“This was our first escape room in the dark and surprisingly we did better than most rooms with the lights on! Go with a group you are comfortable with, you’ll be bumping into them often. It was a fun challenge and I’m glad we decided to take it on.”

“Super cute room! The set design was beautiful and the smells inside the room were lovely. This would be a great room for families with younger children as it isn’t scary at all, and the puzzles are not too difficult.”

“Truly impressive. A gigantic game with lots of well put together puzzles. Escape Ventures seems to be the master of having props and keys fly out at you without you missing them. Be prepared for angry computers to throw a couple of things your way.”

“Easily one of my favorite rooms of all time. An incredibly memorable experience. The theme is dark and may be disturbing (missing children...), but they toed a good balance between scary and humorous. There is a jump scare, but it can be toned down upon request. I usually don't love jump scares, but this one is recommended to just go for it - as it's unique! No spoilers 🤐) The puzzles were fantastic; however, some puzzles break the immersion (for example, one puzzle relies on rubber insects. Are we supposed to believe these insects always maintain the exact number for the benefit of people unlocking chests... Or whether these were other kids leaving fake insects to help us? It wasn't explained).”

“I loved this room! We took my parents here for their first escape room and we all had a blast. I didn't find it super challenging but it was very fun and interactive. I really have no notes, I just had a good time. The atmosphere and decor were great, the puzzles were fun, and non linear which I love.”

“Fun game with a spooky feeling. Our game host (Christine) was great! A nice mix of traditional and mechanical locks. Clues and puzzles all make sense! Parking is street or paid garage, so arrive extra early.”

“This was our first room here. We were very impressed by the high-caliber theming and decor in both the room and the lobby/common areas. The common areas have a modern design aesthetic very different from the steampunky vibe at most places. The room itself had fantastic decor, theming and props. Completely immersive. Special effects were impressive. A few jump scares which we loved but some people might not like. This is a linear room and story and challenges were well integrated. A few new things we'd never seen before. Very high tech and only a couple of locks. Highly recommend. Can't wait to try more rooms here.”

Orlando bursts with magic, mystery, and the best kind of mayhem. This star of the Sunshine State packs an insane amount of awesome in one area. Academics and fans of college athletics will know Orlando for the massive University of Central Florida. The football stadium (nicknamed the Bounce House) is home to the UCF Knights, who became NCAA National Champions in 2017. Orlando and surrounding areas are home to multiple major theme parks, each with unique attractions that make them worth a vacation on their own. You can be enchanted at Walt Disney World Resort, turn into a wizard at Universal Orlando Resort, meet marine life at SeaWorld Orlando, swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove, and build your imagination at Legoland Florida. It’s no wonder the escape rooms in Orlando are just as bombastic as its other attractions. Over a hundred escape rooms span the Orlando area, with countless incredible reviews and challenges ready to stump and surprise the most seasoned escape artist. From military missions to fantastical science fiction fantasies, Orlando has plenty of puzzles ready to be solved by curious minds.
The Great Escape Room was the first live escape experience opened in Orlando. However, it was far from the last. The Great Escape Room became a chain of escape rooms, and in the years since their initial opening in 2014, over a hundred live escape experiences have opened in the area. In the heart of America’s theme park capital, it’s only natural that the escape rooms in the area excel at incorporating unique themes. Many escape rooms have pivoted from the traditional “unlock the door” format to more collaborative takes on puzzle-solving.
Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
There are plenty of awesome escape rooms to choose from in Orlando. The goal of Morty is to make escape rooms more accessible for everyone to find and play.
