Operation Arctic Storm: The Final Meltdown
  • Escape room
  • IRL

“This room was a blast! It was my favorite of all their rooms at this location. I loved the theme, which was a very unique one amongst escape rooms. The puzzles were fun and challenging and plentiful. And the set design and size of the room was above and beyond. I really enjoyed it all from start to finish. Definitely a must do if you’re in the area! I’m a little surprised this isn’t an hour room. We finished in under an hour and we weren’t trying to rush and also spun our wheels for a considerable amount of time on one puzzle that we didn’t want help on. I’d call it Medium difficulty, not the Hard Morty lists it as, especially if you have 90 minutes to solve it.”

The Escape Game

“I really loved this room and I can’t believe I saved it for the one of this location to play! I think I had incorrectly assumed this room would be too juvenile to be fun for a group of adults but that was not the case at all. The theme of the room is excellent and gameplay is fast paced, non-linear and excellent for a large group. There’s so much to do! I really loved how our GM, Tony, provided nudges because we were a smaller group (4 adults) for a room designed for 8-12 people. He was so friendly and helpful and even made my husband and I a certificate for completing all of the rooms at this location. We also got to sign the wall! I didn’t even realize that was a thing, so this was a really fun surprise.”

“I LOVED this game! The Escape Ventures always makes great rooms but dare I say that this is one of my favorites? This room was not as scary as some of the other rooms at The Escape Ventures but it was very immersive and the puzzles flowed so perfectly together. If you’re thinking about trying to venture out into scarier escape rooms but want to start off with something a bit more tame, this would be a great option for you! Our game master (I believe his name was Miles?) also very clearly loved his job and did a notably great job making the experience fun for us!”

The Satirical Miracle: A Jolly Tale Of Granny's Blackmail

“This was a fantastic game. Honestly there is an argument to be made this is Escape Ventures best game. I know that could be a bit controversial as they have some truly amazing rooms across all of their locations however what this game has that the other ones in their roster do not completely have is this game is perfect for any age and any skill level while still being a wonderful room and story. While this is one of their older games, the immersion, the set dressing, puzzle flow, tasks, etc are all wonderful. It also has one of the "best" in-story live actor interactions that reminder me of many a holiday. I won't spoil it but what happens and the circumstances for the live actor reminded me of many a holiday in the best of ways. This was not a difficult room but it was a blast to play. Very fun puzzles and smart technology used throughout. Highly recommend this room especially for families that typically would not play a room. This is the room for you. But beware as this room might convert you into an escape room enthusiast. Puppet Heist: The Hand Of Life

The Bureau Adventure Games

  • Escape room

“Puppet Heist was an absolutely stellar game - it took the concept of a puppet museum heist and made something that was absolutely hilarious, novel, and interesting. From the opening interaction to the wonderful, zany set, it was a joy to play. The game flow is absolutely highly unconventional, and as such we had to take some nudges for a few puzzles, but it never felt completely unfair. In particular, I loved the implementation of reuse, which was so whimsical and made for some puzzles I’ve never seen before. If you enjoy unusual games, especially if you’ve played a lot of games, check it out.”

Super Bomb Squad: Commandos Awesome

“Such a fun room and well executed concept. There are number spy rooms out there that offer similar game play and "defuse the bomb before time expires" but this one really stands out for it's ability to tell a fun story and have that flow work from the door closing to the finale. Every puzzle and encounter made sense. The puzzles offered great variety and they really did a good job of offering linear and non-linear puzzles so a team could tackle multiple tasks simultaneously. There were a few head scratcher moments but some gentle nudges helped to get us on track without being frustrating or game breaking. This was a fun from from second-one all the way to successfully accomplishing our mission. Highly recommend this one for a group of three to four and a good one for the kiddos. “Such a hidden gem and an unexpected joy of a room! Having done some truly mind bogglingly immersive rooms all over the world, I wasn't expecting much when I first went inside the room. But the gameplay and novel puzzles soon pushed all that aside. The 3 of us escaped with 3:35 left on the clock. We all had a blast! The puzzles were challenging but made sense, and there were no physical locks, which helped immersion. You can tell the owner is passionate about what he does, we loved hearing all the Easter eggs he put into the puzzles. Highly recommend!”

“The Bureau does things a lot differently from other companies in gameflow, and UFO was no different. There was a lot to solve, and the solves were unusual and highly tactile. In particular, the use of diegetic props and puzzles was absolutely excellent, forcing you to think differently than most escape rooms. The setting was no less unusual, especially in how it blended distinctive architecture with the fantastical to create a setting I’ve never seen before. Galactic Beef: The Cosmic Adventures of Star Cow

“Doldrick’s has been pushing the envelope in terms of humor for quite a while, but they really outdid themselves in Galactic Beef. This was essentially like being in a live action cartoon - silly, exaggerated, but with a good heart and a surprisingly structured storyline for an escape room. While listening to extended story segments may not be everyone’s cup of tea, I do think the gameplay built mastery in a compelling way - communication was essential and it was great getting better at certain tasks as we played. Ultimately, I absolutely adored Galactic Beef, even as someone who generally doesn’t go for comedy. If you can let yourself get into the storyline, which can be surprisingly easy, you’ll have a great time.”

“What a fun room. It's a one-room experience but the level of detail, story telling and immersion is just fantastic. Not a terrible difficult room but a wonderful, intuitive and story driven room. Nothing felt too easy; just everything clicked. This is a great starter room if you are new or if you want to try a date night room but one of you might not have a lot of experience; this is the perfect room for you. About the location, the staff is just amazing. This is roughly our 100th room and we've played all over central Florida and this is a top three location for us in terms of rooms, fun-factor and challenges. Danielle has been our game master for nearly every game we played and she is just fantastic. If you are new or experienced; Dare 2 Escape is the place to for you. Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle Adventure
  • Escape room
  • IRL

“As someone who grew up with Scooby Doo this was a treat to play. I was a little worried if the game play would either be too Scooby-generic or rudimentary but I was happily mistaken on both accounts. This was a really fun room, great incorporation of the Mystery Inc gang (in their classic style including voice actors for most of the cast) and a good mystery to solve. The mapping and puzzle selection was just fun to play. Great game to play with the whole family. The only downside is I think we caught a few of the GMs on a bad night (not everyone but it was a few). The gent who collected us at the end was wonderful and ended the night on a high note. It was a weekend so I totally get the energy might be low from a busy day but I felt like we were putting the team out just from our presence. Not that I'm looking to chat with the staff when we arrive, as I'm happy to sit and wait but I've had warmer treatment from ice cubes when we entered. Tidbits It's an outdoor mall with a small parking lot so plan to park toward the Home Depot or around the corner at Edge Escape - it's a very quick walk and easier in/out for parking.”

The Heist

The Escape Game

“What a fantastic heist room. Full disclosure, we totally had an off day. Maybe I’m exaggerating a bit but we were not at our best. Regardless, this is an amazing room and I kinda want to replay it when my brain is fully operational. One thing Escape Game does so well is to logic everything. Every element in the room, the puzzles and clues all tie back to not only the theme of the room but the story. This is such a hard thing to do and the team here made it look easy. Laura was our GM and honestly was basically the third member of the team for the day as we missed some obvious elements. If you play this one, and this is something I forget, if they tell you not to touch an item it basically means everything else is fair game. After some other locations I’ve played, I don’t do a good enough job of remembering the rules for what is off limits changes based on where you are at. This is a room you really need to play with the environment and you are rewarded for it. I highly recommend this room. Also wear something warm as one of the two rooms that host The Heist is kinda cold and this is coming from someone who loves the cold. Tidbits: Great location and large parking lot in the back (entrance is off the parking lot not the street front) Plenty to do nearby Rebooking discount These are public rooms. The main area of the set is fantastic and there are a lot of puzzles to solve, including a couple that for me were “oh damn that is clever” moments. “This room was fantastic. Great vibes and set pieces, funny/campy gags and voice acting - right up my alley! The final puzzle and ending was very satisfying. This was less chaotic and more straightforward than the Wizard room and a little easier, but not a beginner room. It's mostly linear, which can be a positive or negative depending on your style - I like both. (I preferred this room over Wizard's Tower - this was just more fun, but Wizard's had more of a wow factor due to its tech. I loved both and will be back for more.) “What a phenomenal room. Arguably their best room. Fun theme, some truly unique puzzles and one of the better pirate experiences I’ve played. They did an excellent job of connecting the story to the setting and characters. They gave a thoughtful purpose for the story connection to the puzzling and theme of the room. Genuinely some of the more unique puzzles I’ve played and crazy there was not a lock, key or any usual mechanic in the room. Yes, the room is a bit older and yes it does not have some of the bells and whistles of other contemporary rooms however, this is still a great room. This is roughly our 160th room and this could rank in the top 20 for me in terms of just fun game play and diversity and variety of really cool puzzles. Highly recommend this room to a new to escape room player or someone with more games under their belt than we have.
