Incredible use of space and some awesome, novel puzzles. Just enough searching, Tactile puzzles, and problem-solving. Incredible twist at the end. First of its kind that I’ve ever seen!

The puzzles varied widely from extremely straightforward to massive logical leaps. Set was alright but not amazing. If you had a good GM, it might be worth doing with friends.

The Basement: UnhingedTHE BASEMENT: A Live Escape Room Experience - Kansas CityEscape roomIRLReally fun room. Kind of horror themed but not truly terrifying. A bit spooky though. Well orchestrated with fun puzzles. It felt as if some of the puzzles weren’t clearly tied to the narrative or even fully clear other than for the sake of being a puzzle. Some things were partially tied down even though their use was required which could have been frustrating without good help from the staff. The live actor did an incredible job and really elevated the experience!
Birth MachineMad MachinesEscape roomIRLIncredible way to start our new year. Really well put together room from start to finish and great help from the GM. Can’t wait to try time machines as well. Every puzzle made complete sense for the room and flowed effortlessly from one to the other.

The AlchemistSherlockedEscape roomIRLStandout room. Just took my #1 slot of 60+. Must-Do. I saw multiple puzzles for the first time and every puzzle was exquisite. The space and immersion are incredible. I felt like I was in a video game or movie.
