“One of the best experiences I’ve had. We played both Flynn’s arcade and Treasure island. Let me start off by saying Greg the game master was the best. He did both of our games and was amazing. My kids 7 and 5 enjoyed as our GM as well. Both sets are top tier. There is plenty to do in both rooms. I say play them back to back. You won’t be disappointed. Brain Games know what they are doing. They will immerse you in the best way that you won’t want to leave the world you are in.”

“Flynn’s Arcade is a room that feels as good to play as it is to look at. Pictures give off the exact 80s aesthetic the room is going for. I won’t spoil anything but the progression of the room is surprising, from entrances that reveal themselves to the rooms you get to explore, there’s so much hidden and it’s satisfying the whole time. In our game one piece did not activate automatically which stuck my team in one spot a little longer than we wanted but even then we got out with some 25 minutes remaining. The puzzles are a mix of classic codes and locks and Survivor-esque challenges that keep gameplay exciting. Highly recommended this one.”

“I rate this escape experience a 5/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). This game was filled with surprises at every turn (literally). It was definitely enchanting! The set was off the charts great - 2 pts here! I did not expect this from an escape room hidden in a mall. Each part of the experience was filled with adventure and great special effects. The theme flowed well and ended with a unique and quite humorous ending with fun- loving characters sprinkled in between to assist you. Puzzles got 1.5 pts. They also flowed well with the theme and involved quite a bit of interactive play. Lots to do so it was somewhat challenging for 2 people. Thank goodness for our trusty sidekick! 🐻 I rate my enjoyment 1.5 pts. The only thing that did not go well was that their AC system was broken and my copious amounts of sweat did not feel so enchanting in the middle of summer. Hopefully they've fixed this by now because morning should distract from this amazing room!”

“I have done many escape rooms but this one takes the cake. This room was so well constructed and you could tell so much thought and effort went into it. I loved every second of it and didn’t want it to end. 2 people is the perfect amount for this room. It isn’t super difficult, we only needed one hint. I had a smile on my face thoroughly the entire room. I didn’t feel stressed, and I loved how instead of solving a case or problem, it was just fun mini games that lead to one big finish. I have never experienced anything like this and this defiantly makes the number one spot without a doubt!”

“This was a fantastic set with well-themed and well-sequenced puzzles. A good one for a mixed party of experienced and inexperienced puzzlers. Kim was a great host from start to finish. We were drawn in from the very beginning.”

“One of the funnest more enjoyable rooms I’ve done in a while. There is so much to do, 2 people wasn’t a great idea. Definitely recommend 3 as a minimum. Puzzles were very on theme for the room and made sense with everything. Easy enough to piece together and great use of space Our GM, Joe was also a fun dude. Very happy to have him brief us and chat after the game. Everything about play that room was great!”

“I had a fantastic time. I’m very much not good with scary rooms and this was more scooby doo/detectives/ghostbusters/gravity falls/goosebumps. No real jump scares when we went and we thought it was more funny than scary. But that can likely change based on who you get as your gm. I can definitely see how the game master can make or break this game. It’s also definitely a game where you get out the energy you put in. It’s very gm driven/heavy. We had Jon and we enjoyed our experience and had a good time! I didn’t think there were any too hard puzzles and they were all themed pretty well and fit with the story. LOTS of running around, and the game starts at the top of a set of stairs. I’ve never been this out of breath in a game in a hot minute.”

“Jumanji was our first 60out escape room and it was great! We ended up finishing all the rooms at the Melrose location, and Jumanji was definitely the highlight there. It's really on theme, and knowing the general idea of the movie definitely makes it more enjoyable. Puzzles were fun and different.”

“I love doing Escape Room LA rooms because they're always great and this room was no exception! Great puzzles and numerous non linear puzzles. A great variety that used different skill sets. And the story line and set was a hit in our group! Did it with 5 people in 38ish minutes.”

“The staff here continues to be amazing with GM Wilson being extremely enthusiastic and helpful. The room was really fun with a lot to do in quick succession, with things linking pretty seamlessly together. While it’s a smaller set of rooms each is pretty packed with things to do!”

“HOLY FUN!! genuinely one of the biggest rooms i’ve ever done. hardest room at this location. we did it with two people and got out with 50 sec left with one puzzle bypass. it’s doable but definitely would suggest coming with at least 4 people. the puzzles are a bit worn down but i personally didn’t think it ruined the experience. the puzzles r a lot of decoding so if that’s not ur thing then probably pass on this room. when u think it’s over trust me…ITS NOT. so many cool surprises!! i will definitely be trying the other games here. so so fun and immersive!”

“Really enjoyed this room. A fun spooky-campy (literally) vibe, with on-theme puzzles, some of which were pretty unique. Good for beginners/intermediate players, but definitely worth it for more experienced players too. Raoul, our game master, was also a pleasure.”

“Another well-made Escape Game room! GM Pamina was awesome, and was super attentive to guiding me exactly in the ways I was asking for clarity. This room is a great use of space as it feels like it keeps opening up and having tons of things to do in each of its rooms. All of the staff is super friendly!”

“Amazing staff, some of the best customer service ever, especially Graham and Joey. Cool place, has a mocktail bar with coffee, arcade games, and an arcade shooting range. Enjoyed the escape room. Very few traditional locks, mostly mechanics, good story, great production values.”

“As an L.A. native who loves this city, I was iffy about trying to “Escape L.A.” but this room was delightful. Much lighter in tone than the other two rooms here, this still had the fun, tricky puzzles that make Hypnotic’s rooms among my favorites.”

“I hadn’t heard anything about this room prior to playing it but I’m so glad I went in blind! Surprisingly spacious and full of puzzles, Magic Kingdom offers more than it lets on. With the first space you’re in being somewhat barebones in terms of props, as the room opens before you there’s so much to explore. So many ideas I haven’t seen in other rooms implemented in such small but impactful ways. And even though the story was simple, completing each step was satisfying. One of the best Maze Rooms I’ve played.”

“Tesla was such a fun escape experience. We had a large group of 8, which may have been too many (or maybe that's a personal preference?). Only two from this group had done escape rooms before so it was fun helping new people try it out! Our GM was great about giving helpful hints to nudge us in the right direction without outright giving us answers. The puzzles in this game were a little tricky at times, but that's to be expected as it was listed as their hardest room at this location. We managed to escape with less than a minute to spare! Also, this room was so well decorated. The theming was top-notch, and there was one point where most of the group wanted to stop and take pictures inside because of how cool everything looked! (permission given beforehand by the GM to keep phones and take photos) We will definitely be going back to Architect to try out more rooms!”

“This is the second room I’ve done from PanIQ and it’s another solid one. It started out great until we stumped on something so simple. After that was resolved it was a straight forward, momentous smooth sailing. The props were fantastic. Each prop served a purpose, which definitely stumped us earlier. Arrr me hearties!!! Twas a swashbuckling adventure and we had a proper rollicking time!!! Thanks host Ian!”

“I’m impressed with how much space there was in this room and their others rooms. The wow factor settles in when you first enter. Everything pretty much made sense. There was only one puzzle that stumped us a bit even though we already knew how to solve it. The puzzles were a lot of fun! There were a lot of fun moments with their use of media. Slimer does make an appearance but not in a scary way. The layout of the puzzles is linear making it better for smaller groups. Super fun room!”

“The theming of this room was excellent! I personally had a harder time with this room but my teammates were amazing and we got it done in 30 minutes. The room was very techy and not manual so it added to the magical nature of the room. It had some puzzles unlike I’d ever seen before (I’ve done almost 30 rooms).”

“As someone who doesn’t have a history of enjoying fantasy themed rooms, I really enjoyed this room. It didn’t feel too fantastical until you venture into the later rooms. The puzzles themselves were fun, and linear. Due to the linearity, I’d suggest no more than three people in the group. The GM was amazing, we requested no nudges unless asked and the request was respected. This room is an older room so some the puzzles were quite specific in the interactions required due to the technology at the time. Overall a great room.”

“I think this is one of my favorite rooms because I felt so accomplished that my partner and I ran this room with just the two of us and it always felt like we were doing something. The set-design and props connected the story and made it full-circle for me. Some of the props were showing some wear so maintenance is definitely needed but this room has great potential for the amount of the puzzles we were working on. Puzzles all made sense to us, but there was one puzzle that took a little while to activate even though we were doing it correctly, but was quickly fixed. Great date night for two! Three if you're feeling like you don't need the space.”

“Whimsical and true to the cartoon, all of your favorite characters make an appearance. The professional-quality set is delightful to explore and our GM, Adam Smurf, was affable and ready to help when asked. Perfect room for kids, families, and 80’s children who always wanted to smurf in Smurf Village!”

“This room was such a banger. I loved it! The set design in the first room was ... breathtaking. It was as if the room could be an actual film set. The puzzles were fun. Not too hard, but not too easy either. The highlights were most definitely the tech and the set design. #teamGodzilla ✌🏼”

“Theming and set design were on point. Our team was only 2, and we just made it. There was a lot of empty space but pretty sure it was meant for more players. Anyway, overall a great play and would be fun for beginners. There are times where it’s dark, so be careful moving around. The puzzles weren’t necessary hard, but the flow made it a great experience.”

“We were definitely not super observant in this room and i think it was because there was so much going on around the room that we had trouble noticing when things lit up or when things stopped moving. There was a puzzle in there intentionally hard to figure out and then to actually accomplish. You don’t get any instructions without asking for a hint, but I think you need SOME instructions on it. I can’t imagine a lot of teams getting it without a hint.”
